I was truly disturbed by this documentary, and yet feel every parent should see this. Well done, Nancy Schwartzman, you have articulated the unspoken crimes of our generation that is not so new. This is a much needed documentary to watch with your kids.

This was hard to watch. The perpetrators should have received much more punishment, as well as the administration who covered it up. The videos are there for all to see, yet we have people saying here with one star reviews that it is "unfair." The boys who committed this crime and posted it laughingly online should at the very least be on lifelong sexual predator labels.

While difficult to watch, I thought the documentary was very well done and covered a very important topic. I was astounded by the victim-blaming. I was even more astounded by the sense of entitlement and the way the boys in the video seemed to have complete disregard for basic human dignity. However, with all of that said, I think that disturbed me the most was when the head football coach told the detective in his interview that he did ask the players "Did you f**k her?" What kind of adult/coach/educator uses that type of language in reference to a minor student?? I found that extremely disturbing.

Shining a light on privilege and injustice! American society mistreats its young people by setting the stage for tragedies like this to happen. I thank the filmmakers for bringing this to our attention.

Its like the college comedies of the 80's and 90's, soccer are for sukkers, football are for the footballers. theyve always had the power to dominate their environment, and as to this case the rape that were commited and thank god the victim werent killed, shows just a 1 in a 1000 tip of the ice berg in these fraternities. let it be told , and use the social media to reveal the culprits you know about, and use the self pronounced crime bloggers for what they are and can, because they got the heart and guts to act and protect the way the officials cant. howcome american football need so extremely vast number of players on the teams? it seems to me that a football game are just a bunch of time outs, with coaches beheaded with some kida astronout headsets, im sure the have some spy sats hanging over the pits to view the game for them, to make the football stars even brighter.i think american football is a big joke, and its just away for the american public to soscialize in a well protected and fairly safe zone for a few hours. the rest is like having a romantic interlude until all of a sudden a swimmer chases away from the others and crosses the white line , and everybody relieve a screaming climax of joy for the swimmer who hit the golden egg . this is a good documentary, though a bit biased on the prosecution side, but thats all right. it has its own drive and that is the key to a good documentary the perputrators got punished , but its a digrace of justice the small sentences given. 10000000 $ of fine shouldve been paid to the victim..... so if you have problems with american sports and their god like excecuters then the grumpy old man recommends a look at this docu.

Sometimes it is difficult to offer an objective opinion of a film, when the content fills you with rage - Roll Red Roll is one of those films. The film tries to offer information that is publicly available in a manner that wants to offer both sides of the subject, but then pulls back and decides 'We're Going To Shame All Residents Of Steubenville, Ohio'. In my opinion, Roll Red Roll did not go far enough in portraying Steubenville, Ohio as a dirty, filthy place full of dirty, filthy people. What the criminals in this film do not realize - They have been marked by Anonymous, and they will be marked for life.

This is a great doc. The victim blaming radio host needed to be exposed. What an utterly evil man. Other than that the doc is great. Great display of how high school kids can bow to peer pressure when there's one or two bad apples that control everything.

It was a good movie needed more details on things but I know that the director did not want to make it more painful for the victims. It's not fake it's all public record and we all watched it unfold on the news.

I was first asked to see a viewing of this film for extra credit in my Human Sexuality class, but I would honestly watch it again. This film is so insightful in regards to rape culture and toxic masculinity in American society. It does an excellent job of diverting the attention from the survivor and really honing in on the perpetrators who were at fault. Highly recommend if there is a screening in your area!!Sexuality
