Hear we go again. Once again a bunch of people who want to make a Movie. Animators, Check. Voice Talent, Check. Green lit by a Production Co., Check. Song Writer, Check. Original Story, NO. Story? Story? Story! I've got it. We take to Loin King and re-do it. Lead - Panther not Lion, keep the bird assistant, but make it Female. Change the Hyenas to Snakes (Nobody likes Snakes). Have leader die saving a small helpless life. Lady snake (with vaguely Russian accent), part of the ruling council, take over and tricks the rest of the animals that their home is now unsafe and all must move to a new location that only she knows about. Fringe member of group, who knows something is wrong, is cast out and must find his own way, finds piece and then determines to go back and save the group. Through in a couple of generic songs and you have a movie. If there is absolutely nothing else to watch it's OK, but beyond that I give it a hard pass.

This movie is Beautiful, funny, and heartwarming. It is Vivo meets Ferngully the last rainforest. There are some scary moments. I like this movie. It has action and adventure. Hopefully it will be rereleased in theaters someday. This movie has latin american music and animals. They also have these great effects and great songs for a 2d movie. Nachi, xochi, pako, Calli, Amaya and Whiskers are entertaining! All characters have been well thought of and well explored!! The cast and creators did a well good job And most importantly it is better than teen titans go to the movies and the lego movie 2 the second part. I hope everybody will enjoy this for many generations. I highly recommended it.

Koati is a pretty underrated and good movie that comes to refresh the cinema after so many boring 3D movies with super plastic animation. Although at first it seems like a kind of inspiration from the Lion King, do not be fooled, the plot is very different. With a more or less memorable protagonist who leaves good messages, an excellent animation, and a quite attractive villain (in the literal sense of the word), we would have one that could be considered a classic. However, there are some small flaws, such as characters that seemed to be part of the plot, such as Xochi, who does not add anything to the plot apart from an unnecessary filler at the end of the film, and the story itself is super simple, and the villain Zaina does not have very strong intentions, although at first they implied that she was planning something much bigger. This is also possibly somewhat unpopular, but the Mexican music in the film... is very bad, at least not the compositions themselves, but the problem is that it does not match the tone of the film at all. At least there are not many, and they are not so annoying since they are few and short. Conclusion: A good movie, a bit underrated, with good ideas, although with unexploited ideas or a bit of unnecessary filler at the end. It was time to have a beautiful 2d movie that stood out on its own merits.

Oh how many cartoons about evil snakes I've seen, and there seems to be no end to it. This one's a perfect example. The movie tries REALLY hard to tell us that the snake characters are soulless monsters and are all evil and is very successful at that. If creators of such movies have some kinda problem with snakes they should keep it to themselves, not pour it all over their audience, ESPECIALLY if the target audience is unsuspecting children who know almost nothing about these animals. There is literally a phrase about the snake villain "you are evil!" and that is what the movie is about. Unless you want your kids to think stereotypically I suggest you give this one a pass.

Koati is a wonderful, sweet animated movie that is an enjoyable watch for adults as well as children alike! A lot of good teachable moments - about courage, about compassion , about friendship! Pako is hilarious!! Nachi, xochi and pako, though very different, make an interesting, lovable trio of friends!! Calli is quite entertaining! All characters have been well thought of and well explored!! Loved the graphics!! Its a beautiful movie and the creators did a fantastic job!! Excellent cast!! Highly recommend it!

I can't believe as a sub watcher, I watched a foreign language movie in dub. Shame on me. Anyway, I only watch this movie because of a free screening. Pretty much the only incentive to invest in the movie was that Sofia Vergara was voicing. Nothing surprising about this movie. The story was boring and straightforward. Of course it's made for kids, so I'm not gonna be rough on it. But man it's not even funny or silly enough. Barely any kids in the theater laugh or seem to enjoy the movie. The animation was mediocre as well as the voice acting. Can't expect much and the only positive thing was that it's not completely cringe. 3.5/10.
