Watched this late at night on Amazon Prime without knowing anything about it, expected to turn it off and head to bed 30 mins in but I was totally gripped by the unpredictability of it ! I found it to be very original unlike most movies of this genre and did instill a sense of fear. A great take on this often well worn idea and I thoroughly enjoyed it, a gem of a movie !

Creepy while entertaining and likable. Great job - if the people behind this make anything else, I'll definitely check it out.

First off, I do not think it is fair for the people who admitted that they didn't watch the movie all the way through to give it such a low rating. I thought this mokumentory was very good. I love how we still don't 100% know if he faked everything or not, but my mind was definitely spinning. It's hard to imagine that someone would actually go through the pain and trouble to push themselves down the stairs, but at the same time, not want to leave their flat when given the opportunity , or even sooner. I probably would have given this a nine but 1) Steve's character was annoying and 2) There were probably some parts that weren't meant to be funny that were

This was an excellent example of a creepy FF film, where till the last moment you are kept wondering as to what will happen next. I have no idea why people are rating it low. For a movie made on a shoestring budget, it was pretty smart and I had my heart in my mouth a few times. At the end, you are left wondering as to what the truth really is (though there are plenty of clues that point either direction). Was it faked? Was it real? Was the ending faked too? Coz you don't really see the man hanging; though his feet lift off the ground. But he could just be hanging on to a rod or something. It makes you think and it makes you want to believe both sides - the ones who insist that it's a hoax and the ones who insist that it is real.

This starts really well, it's effective and creepy but then completely loses it. It's found footage but we get some of the most unnatural acting, it's almost as if people are reading straight from the script at points. Everything becomes way too obvious in the end, just the way shots are set up to leave a gap where you know something is going to appear. There's also a point where what's ever haunting this guy runs at him and they are wearing the most obvious wig. This does so much of what we've already seen before and borrows from a lot of other films. I really wish it had just stuck to how the opening was and didn't turn into what it did. It had potential but ruined it with the things it did, especially it's abrupt ending where it felt like they didn't know how to end this so just rushed wrote an ending.

Some good moments and a lot of hmmm.... wasn't bad, i managed to watch it all the way through, but it left me asking what was it, a couple of predictable make you jump moments doesn't make a horror so what was this? watch it make up your own mind but not a film i'd recommend to anyone i like.

Just dont bother if you are looking for a serious FF film. Just ridiculous. The actors can barely contain laughter as they deliver lines. What a waste of 30 min. All i could stand.

I really enjoyed this movie. Some genuinely creepy moments, some excellent storytelling and enough twists and turns to keep you interested all the way through. I will personally sit through any found footage horror movie, no matter what. That being said, this was one of the most effective FF films I've seen in a while. The documentary wrapper kept the story moving, and the reveals throughout were great. Excellent acting, excellent writing, excellent execution. Check it out!

First turn off was the title, as there are so many channels and wannabe celebrities online, who to follow becomes overwhelming. But I started watching and thought the acting was bad until I realized that if it felt amateurish, then it was well acted! As the film progresses and the host needs to project emotions across his vlog and into the actual film audience, you realize his amateur acting was, well, an act. If you are left wondering at the end, what the film was supposed to be, then the makers made a good film. Is it real world "reality" or made up? What is reality? Can you trust your eyes anymore? Fake, real, ethics, honor, honesty, entertainment, real world or internet cruelty, addiction, moral dilemmas, psychological trauma? It is all there. One of those movies that I am glad I got past the title and ambiguous synopsis.
