Princess Tyra

Princess Tyra is a 2007 Ghanaian drama film directed by Frank Rajah Arase. It is known for featuring an all-star cast of "Ghallywood" (Ghanaian) and received two awards at the 2008 Africa Movie Academy Awards. The film follows the story of Princess Tyra (Yvonne Nelson), an arrogant royal, who is betrothed to Prince Kay (Van Vicker). However, the prince has fallen in love with and impregnated Tyra's maid, Maafia (Jackie Appiah). This sets off a series of events involving palace intrigue and conflict as Tyra seeks revenge.
