I watched it because I would watch a train wreak. A dad (Larry the Cable Guy) and a step-dad (Brian Stepanek) compete for the affection of Noel (Kennedi Clements). Dad does neat fun outdoors stuff, while step-dad has the money to buy anything. Dad wants to get Noel the Harrison bear, but step-dad has been preventing this by buying them all up. That's pretty much it. Nothing overly clever. Some slap stick humor. I thought the situation of competing dads with daughter caught in the middle a sad situation that was made into a comedy...a comedy that doesn't really work. Fans of the Larry film series for kids might like this one too. I didn't think it too entertaining.

I couldn't even make it through the trailer. This is some really appalling godforsaken stuff. I'm upset.

Larry (Larry the Cable Guy) is generally a slacker except for his love for his daughter Noel. His ex-wife Trish has married the box tycoon Victor who is desperate to create the biggest Christmas to win over Noel. Larry is desperate to compete and is willing to do almost anything including reading Noel's letter to Santa. Unable to read her spelling, he assumes it to be a hot selling talking bear. Victor orders his security man Welling to buy out the bears. I have nothing against Larry the Cable Guy but he's just not that funny. It's the gentlest of comedy. There is no edge in sight. It's not that bad as long as one keeps one's expectations down. The production is also pretty low grade. Its heart is mostly in the right place. Its comedy is not that funny. Larry has limited charisma. Expectations have to kept low to believe a giant factory has only one exit or that cell phone signals can be blocked by metal buildings. One way to improve it significantly is to make Welling the sole villain. He can go overboard with Victor's order which would leave Victor as only misguided. This is mostly watchable all the way through to the end. That's the most good I can say about it.

There is a lot of negative reviews on here for this film but I really enjoyed this film, Larry was a likable and really funny character, Victor was one of those characters you love to hate and the film was great as a bit of light hearted fun, there was several really funny moments in the film, ok the plot was pretty much like the first one but the film did not try to pretend otherwise

Jingle all the Way 2 is a belated sequel to the 1996 film that starred Arnie and this has nothing to do with the first film apart from the basic plot line of going after the most sought after toy for Christmas. Noel is an eight year old girl whose mum has just remarried to Victor who is wealthy and runs a successful business. Victor wants to be a good stepdad to Noel and wants her to love him as much as she loves her dad. Larry is her dad, he is a little laid back, a little dim but well meaning who spends much of his time in the diner. Once he gets an inkling that Noel wants the season's hottest toy, The Harrison Bear he goes looking for it everywhere but Victor has sent his crony round to buy them all up first. This is really a cheap looking and corny film but somehow I actually laughed and tittered several times to my surprise. I have sat through bigger budget and high concept comedies stone faced so at least the film got something right. Larry just about keeps the film moving along with some slapstick as the well meaning dad who loves his daughter and prepared to put up with her new stepdad. Victor is the slimy one wanting to get one over Larry and wants the genuine love from Noel. Strangely the film makes a valid point about stepfathers feeling left out in this new family arrangements. All I can say is that this pointless sequel is actually a lot better than expected.

Folks who give this movie a low rating, perhaps don't understand Larry The Cable Guy". Larry's movies are ALWAYS going to get low points on reviews -- because they are looking for a conventional movie. This is not. Also, if you are looking for a movie filled with 'fart' jokes, please look elsewhere! What Larry has done is completely clean up his act and make a movie suitable for children. It has heartfelt touches at the end, that may just cause you to tear up a bit. Throughout the movie, Larry is trying to win the affections of his daughter over her new stepdad who has a lot of money. Things get all screwed up, as they typically do in Larry's movies, but the ending makes it all worthwhile. OK, it does not have the sophistication of, say, "It's a Wonderful Life"; but it does have a good heart. Give it a view.

This was an utter load of garbage. Steps to enjoy this movie: 1) Drop you IQ by 100 points. 2) Swallow gasoline. 3) Strike Match 4) Swallow Match 5) Enjoy movie I do not know how some producers can be happy with this quality movie. I would suggest watching this movie never. How else can I describe this pile of dog turd? If there was only one movie left to watch on this planet, and it was this movie, I would not even consider it. I would consider tearing out my eyes with a blunt teaspoon, pouring molten lava in my ears and then maybe, just maybe would I turn this movie on. Larry the Cable Guy is in the Top 10 of worst actors to be born in the universe. If I stuck 2 googly eyes on a sack of horse manure, the performance would be better.

Wow, I couldn't even stand half-way through the hole movie. Everything was predictable and played out exactly as the first movie. With no effort of making a new plot or style but sticking to the old "Larry can't act" movies. I mean, out of all the Larry movies this is by far the worst. Larry is probably worse than having Adam Sandler play in the movie, I mean Adam would have been able to pull it off better than him. Hollywood just completely ran out of ideas and recycled the same old crap with some new setting, toy and characters. But instead of making a toy sell out faster than anything else, it turns out to be a guy buying them (not gonna name who for the sake of spoilers). I had to stop the movie because if you have seen the first movie, you would know what was going to happen and it's the exact same. No changes just the same old plot with small tweaks. Final Comment: No potential, bad story, bad reboot. Final Score: 1/10
