the best movie okay IF Y'ALL DIDN'T GET THE MOVIE THEN YOUR LIFE IS SUCKS IT'S ABOUT ACCEPTING,LETTING IT GO, GIVING IT ALL AND UNDERSTANDING THE SITUATION YES THEY'RE RIGHT LIFE IS A CIRCLE BUT IT'S A SPRING WE NEVER ROLL WE HOP WE ALL THOUGHT THAT LIFE IS THE SAME BUT ITS NOT YES WE'RE FULL OF SHI AND DIRT BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT WE'RE THE SAME WE CAN CHANGE OUR OUTCOME IN EVERY WAY EVERY DECISION THAT YOU MADE IS RIGHT UES IT LOOKS WRONG BUT IT'S RIGHT THERE'S A GOOD IN BAD AND BAD IN GOOD WE ALL KNOW THAT HER ALPHA HUSBAND SAID THAT SHE'S THE WORST YET BECOME THE BEST THE DEFINITION IN THE MOVIE IS ACCEPTANCE, BEING YOURSELF, REGRETION, AND GOOD IN REGRETS YES LIFE CAN BE BAD BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOUR RUNNING AWAY YOUR NOT LONELY YOU CHOSE TO BE LIKE IT YOUR OTHER PARALLEL DIDN'T YOU EITHER STUCK YOUR SELF IN A BAGEL OR LOOK THEY'RE PERSPECTIVE IN THE GOOGLY EYE YOU CAN FIND THEY'RE TRUTH AND FIND YOURS ACCEPT YOUR CHOICE AND LIVE WITH IT

I took up a challenge to see every movies nominated for Oscars 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Upon reaching 2023, I was highly disappointed on EEAO winning best picture superseding Tár, Women Talking, Triangle of Sadness, The Banshees of Inisherin, The Fabelmans, Elvis and All Quiet on the Western Front. EEAO is great movie, nonetheless shifting away from the traditional aspect of filmmaking, but on the criteria of Oscars, editing and sound should have been its merit. It gives off Barbie's vibes: bad plot, but great production design and costume. I was more astonished that Michelle Yeoh won best actress in leading role over the the great performances Andrea Riseborough and Cate Blanchett played in To Leslie and Tár respectively. I questioned myself if Oscars like Grammy has fallen into shackles of childish endearment and spoon-feeding to a certain demographic than art worthiness. That being said, compared to the movies mentioned, EEAO is mediocre.

If you have seen Rick and Morty, or any other multiverse saga (like Jet Li's The one), you know the drill: in the infinite multiverse some nihilist is out of control and threatens to destroy everything. Now jump from universe to universe trying to stop him. But you haven't seen it with an insane amount of ridiculous Kung Fu fights (because with good fights, Jet Li's The One has already done it), one of them involving two of the fighters trying to land butt first on a buttplug and a *, and succeeding and having the * protruding the rest of the fight until it is pulled out by the protagonist. I don't know how this piece of crap got high praise. It is vulgar, repetitive, derivative with not one fresh idea or execution. It feels like it is a parody of something, like the Matrix, perhaps. But even as parody it fails because most of the attempts are humor are cringey at best, vulgarly offensive at worst. What a letdown. I was hoping for an intelligent take on the multiverse, or to be impressed by fresh ideas. Instead I got a infantile potty humor Kung Fu Hustle, that goes nowhere. But the worst part of this terrible movie? The characters. Or lack of them. The whole movie is so preoccupied with explaining its Universe and jumping from fight to fight, that it forgets to have engaging characters that are something more than rebellious teenage daughter, worried mom and submissive husband. I can't remember a movie that had such a promising trailer, letting me down this bad. For those who have not seen it, a warning I wish I had: if your hopes for this movie goes above having a buttplug fight, and someone putting snot into someone's mouth, recalibrate those expectations. This is not a psychological thriller with great mindfcs. It is a terrible, terrible movie.
