Ok I'm a big fan of this sexy cutie ,long legs great face to look at and fun to watch. I remember this flim from the 80s man all way wanted a copy of the movie. If you live Brooke Shields get the DVD.

This film is a bad acting fest especially Brooke Sheilds,her handsome dark haired boyfriend and the old coastguard who appears briefly at the end of the film. He was so lousy I can only assume he was the director's dad!!. But it was entertaining in it's own sweet way.Worth a look.

for fans of Brooke Shields,you will love this film.it was a time in her career when she was just more famous for being the worlds greatest beauty as apposed to her actual movie achievements.she looks utterly gorgeous throughout the whole film spending it all in bikinis and scuba gear.i feel shes does a fair enough acting job with a dismal script.her performance toward the end when she has a violent struggle with her boyfriend,lends her credit.the movie itself is entertaining enough for a t.v film and portrays an accurate account of how greed can ultimately turn you into a different,less desirable person.the suspense of the film served its purpose but burgess Meredith did not as i feel his part,having had a lot more acting experience than the fellow cast,was acted terribly.definitely worth a look though,if only for the purpose of watching a tanned and wet Brooke..

Remember how the search for gold in "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" led to greed, paranoia, and violence? The same sort of thing happens here, only the setting has been transferred to the Bahamas and Burgess Meredith now plays Walter Huston's role. The results are easy to watch but flat dialog, thin characterizations, and indifferent acting put this into the "forgettable" category. The musical score has that generic "straight-to-video" quality. Brooke Shields, Tom Byrd, and Brian Kerwin spend so much time in bathing suits that the movie seems to have been filmed in Speedo-Vision. In terms of "beefcake," Byrd -- whose frontal * scene has been cut from most prints of "Out Cold" -- checks in as young, dark, and hairy -- his chest will remind you of Sam Elliott or Jeff Osterhage -- whereas Kerwin qualifies as not so young, blond, and not so hairy. Poor Brooke! Every young woman should have this kind of "meat parade" from which to choose!

Brooke Shields is beautiful in this treasure hunting adventure. To attain the 'good life' with her dweeb boyfriend, Brooke employs the services of a local scuba diving dude to help her salvage a booty of gold bars sunk on an excursion ship long ago. Along for the ride is the town drunk Burgess Meredith who enlightens everyone with his old war stories, though no one is listening. Brooke is hot in her variety of small tops, little shorts, and bathing suits, and must fend off the advances of the two young guys and the haunting potentiality of 'gold fever'..... that is, greed. Highlights of the movie are Brooke in bikinis, a rank Coast Guard lieutenant, and Burgess holding his ham sandwich like a 2-year old - I just wanted to shove it in his face. Brooke is gorgeous.

Shrimp salad about a search for sunken treasure. Beautiful, gorgeous, sexy, hot - and wet - Brooke Shields quits her job as a waitress/good luck charm to hook up with perennial drunk Burgess Meredith so they can dive for gold bullion. Brooke's idiot boyfriend Tom Byrd will go, too. He'll bring his chest hair along. Diver Brian Kerwin packs his rags-for-clothes so he can join the fiasco-in-the-making. Not much acting quality in this beached tale of greed and deceit, just one of thousands of 'TV-movies' Hollywood cranked out in the 80's, though this one features foxy Brooke in a bikini. A film for me to watch when I want to feed my 30+ year love affair with Brooke.
