It was like watching a movie, telling a story. Annoying audio from the background of video is unbearable.

The first thing that is obvious from the opening scenes of this film is the horrible washed out faded color of this film. It is like the filmmakers shot this with an old Super 8 camera, then left the film in the backseat of a car in 100 degree weather. Technically an inferior film. like an old TV show from the early 1960's when color was first used on TV. The action is nothing new, most of the people get killed off in the film. A very childish screenplay. The main character reminded me of Woody Allen with his facial expressions and mannerisms, but without Allen's humor. The female lead character played by Anna Serradilla. Has the worst hairstyle ever in a film. It looked like someone put a bowl on her head and cut her bangs on her forehead too short. Film had one good scene when the male lead character uses his video game skills to kill off some of the bad guys. That should have been it. He becomes an action hero using his video game skills. But no. They waste the film time having him running away through the entire film.

Decent directing by Guillermo Ivan (who also played Rafael), although the shaky-cam scenes were annoying. Good action (but very repetitive), and pacing that fit the 98 min runtime, but the writing was terrible and cliched. Four writers and you'd think at least one could write better than a 5th grader. The worst part was the infantile narrating that really failed this film, as did casting novice Michael Kingsbaker who's acting was amateurish and annoying. The rest of the cast was great, but not enough to get past the annoying Kingsbaker and his narrating. Any review above a 5 for this film (including out of the current 8) are all fake/paid. This film is no better than my 4/10. Avoid, even if you're bored.

The stupidity of this movie is astounding. There is nothing remotely good about it, but if you want to see some nice scenery then it's OK.

What a boring movie. To be honest I didn't even watch it to the end. I couldn' t. A sheer waste of time...Yes, camera and style might receive some points, but whoever wrote the script and chose the actors should change his job. Can not recommend.

Now, clearly this movie is not Scott Pilgrim, or Deadpool, both of which this flick borrows from, BUT, I did think it was pretty entertaining and often hilarious. Yes, the narration, as another review noted, is a little over the top, to put it mindly, however I often found myself laughing, surprised, or even shocked by some of the one liners, stop downs, and silly, bordering on ridiculous, sight gags they threw in this thing. All the "big" names in the movie were clearly there just for the paycheck, but I really got a kick out of Matthew Kingsbaker. He definitely went for it, and I loved the romance/paranoia subplot between him and the leading lady. Look, it's no Midnight Run, but if you dig wacky, over the top, self deprecating humor in a movie that clearly isn't taking itself too seriously, check it out.

So there's a guy who ends up in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Sort of a fish out of water plot, one you've seen a few times before. Lots of things go wrong since the protagonist lands in Acapulco, Mexico, and finds himself chased by all the bad dudes all the way from Mexico to Washington. There's endless action, lots of laughs and some gorgeous spots to look at. And the female lead is a true badass. Had lots of fun watching this one. J.P.
