I had to laugh at the acting in this movie. Every actor exaggerated the importance of their lines. Their expressions and every movement were also overly done. This, coupled with the dramatic background music Were just too much.
I couldn't get attached to any of the characters.
Is the movie supposed to be a spoof on westerns?

Wasn't a bad movie. Subtitles kept distracting me from the story. Wasn't able to turn them off.

Neil Mcdonough is one of my fav actors, and I love a good western. However, acting by everyone terrible, slow movie and very predictable movie. I watched from beginning to end hoping for the best but, what a waist of time! Save yourself don't bother!!! Beautiful woodsie scenery, and horse riding was great!

There were a lot of good solids for a decent Western style epic ... yet multiple choppy flashbacks detracted more than added. I'd suggest re-editing to try and save the film and hopefully make back the budget.

The acting was pitiful at best. Each scene was as if they were on a poorly executed high school play. As if each camera cut the Director was saying go and they performed horrible. It was really bad I turned it off after 15 minutes. Do not waste your time or money on this film.

Not sure why it's getting such negativity. I enjoyed it. Funny and heartfelt. It is a low budget film but good watch. It does not a very factual movie but more heart and funny quips. I recommend it .

First of all, several times in the movie the term "intel" is used to mean intelligence when this term was first used in 1961 so why would a man in the 1800's be using the term "intel"? How sloppy and stupid can you get? The repeated flashbacks were irritating and some were repeated 3 or more times! The woman undercover agent is left alone with a woman captive and instead of removing her to safety she leaves the hostage with the villlian to possibly be killed later in the story. What were they thinking when the script was written (probably by a millenial with no sense of history)?

I like shows like this, predictable or not. Conflicted good and bad guys what's not to love.

John Breaker (Neal McDonough) is a sheriff and war philosopher. He served with a group of men in the Civil War and now five years later, one has formed a band of raiders in Kansas and is going supply lines and anything southern. John and three others are going after him and his gang.
John Breaker's son is played by Steven R. McQueen, the grandson of Steve McQueen. They are hunting the Saint played by Casper Van Dien. It is a western that prefers action music to western style. The first three minutes of the film are used to explain the title which I take as meaning "reckoning." Ho-hum. They tried too hard to make a theme of war and redemption which they should have allowed the film to do on its own.
Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity.
