You can scroll down the reviews, and you're going to find a lot of them with a one-star rating saying that this is confirmation bias, preconceptions, made to horrify and outrage, etc., and this is only going to probe that what you are watching in this documentary is nothing but the truth, because our society is facing all of these people who are trying to normalize that kind of behavior, like those guys rating the movie with one star trying to discredit the information rendered in the documentary, and they are so obvious in their intentions that they don't care to expose themselves as what they really are.

If you already believe everything this "documentary" purports, then I'm sure you absolutely love it. For everyone else, don't even waste your time. Flimsy or non-existent evidence and completely invalid interpretations of scientific data. The Starbucks cherry pick information that suits their purposes, and conveniently exclude everything else. Many times they state their opinions, but present them as widely accepted truths. Their attempt to broach this topic in a fair manner and with the "other side" was essentially non-existent. This film will soon be lost and forget, as it should be. No wonder he wasn't elected.

This was... *sigh It was a fever nightmare made of Alt-right fear mongering satire, sadly I went into this, not knowing much about it other than the movie description given. Boy, was I surprised! I think my biggest disappointment came with the fact that the movie had plenty of opportunities to actually shine a light on the dangers children are facing online, elsewhere and what have you. But they chose to cater to a specific audience, knowing that it would resonate with them and them alone. Therefore, isolating itself from becoming what it actually could have been. Instead, it was riddled with dog whistles.

Bears the same resemblance to a proper documentary that sawdust does to a living tree. It's essentially a series of talking points beaded together in a grim parody of coherence. Presumably this was why the makers effectively lied to the people that agreed to appear in it and resorted to heavily editing their interviews to get the soundbites they actually wanted. This, like the maker's approach, lends them a paper-thin appearance of objectivity whilst pushing a fairly toxic message. All on behalf, of course, who imagine that everyone up to and including the postman is doing the same thing against them. For fundies and Fox News addicts only.

What do you do if you want to keep driving your narrative forward with no real evidence? Create a machine that endlessly pumps out fodder distorting reality in the way you want your captive audience to view it. Welcome to the next in the series of right wing conspiracy drivel... unfounded theories, anecdata, fake "experts", Rand Paul FFS... now there is a man who is willing to say anything to keep his position. If you watch this "Documentary"... (and I really think you need to sit down and really consider whether you need this sort of deliberate misinformation in your life...) and get the feeling that there an obvious manipulative motivation that isn't grounded in facts, professionals in good standing, logic or reason and they are using actual important issues and cherry picked facts to distort your views ... then congratulations! You are still part of reality-based community. Glad to have you here. If, on the other hand, you watch this and feel a rising sense of horror, outrage, and anger at what the evil (fill in the blank with the group you hate the most) are doing to the precious children under everyone's noses and "you knew it all along"... then you have been suckered. It's not your fault. They've been laying the groundwork since Fox News was birthed out of serial sexual assaulter Roger Ailes' nethers. You've been trained to stay away from a healthy wide variety of good news sources, and focus only on the few that keep you angry and afraid. And really that's all this "documentary" is. Another attempt to embed fears and hatreds in a group who have been conditioned to respond to a certain type of emotional appeal using carefully worded, factually twisted, distortions of reality.

The War On Children (2024) is a documentary that seems to be more interested in pushing a particular narrative than in presenting a balanced view of its subject matter. It's a classic case of confirmation bias, serving up exactly the kind of content its target audience wants to hear, without challenging any preconceived notions or offering any new insights. The film's approach is reminiscent of the sensationalist tactics often employed by certain media outlets, with its heavy reliance on fear-mongering and divisive rhetoric. It's a strategy that may appeal to some, but for those looking for a more nuanced and thoughtful exploration of the issues at hand, it leaves much to be desired. In the end, The War On Children (2024) is a documentary that reflects the polarized state of our current discourse. It's a film that will likely resonate with viewers who share its worldview, but for those hoping for a more balanced and objective analysis, it may prove to be a disappointing watch.

The production of this film is tho validate all the preconceptions of alt-right and the reactionary religious factions, an endless stream of posts and re posts of the most extreme results of the worst things that have been done to children and it's all the fault of the "Main Stream Media" and the "Online Community" (read Tic-Toc, FaceBook, Twitter....) Yes bad, very bad, horrible things have been done to children and are being done to children, but where is the balance. What abut "Conversion Therapy" and the myriad other programs that religious organizations, see Nazi and Islamic State, Yes there is a problem but this kind of "Film" is not the solution.
