This may not be the best movie but, I love this movie because it takes my mind off the biggest world problems for a while. It is light hearted, a little whimsical somewhat. Basically it is a fairytale, but I love it. Sure, the part about the island could be a little deeper, but this is suppose to be a love story, not a movie solving problems.

As as high school biology teacher I wish my life was 10% of her teacher life! This is completely unrealistic! And agree with everybody else's comments about the Lead!

Somehow I have made it to an hour and 22 minutes. I'm thinking about quitting and came to see if I'm the only weird one or if the reviews say things I'm thinking. They say things I am thinking. My thoughts are the lead actress is limp. That's the only word I could come up with in my mind. Just no personality. The guy is great. Everyone else is doing a good job. Yes, her voice is a little annoying and she sounds like an eight-year-old. I hate to be critical of something that someone can't fix but that in itself is not keeping me from enjoying the movie. Yes she's adorable but maybe too adorable for a leading role. I wasn't sure anyone could be more "adorable" than HM's top leading ladies. (Candace and Lacey) Maybe the dreariness of the weather is making it lackluster as well. I like the different setting and that there are no festivals to attend or kids to appease or artificial greenery everywhere. Thumbs up for skipping that overdone stuff. It is just not holding my interest. I'm finding myself reading news stories on my phone and vaguely listening to it. Sorry :(

This movie was doomed by a couple of things. First, Hallmark we get that you film nearly EVERY movie in Vancouver, but you should have aimed for another season. For a movie that primarily takes place outside, there needs to be some sun, not bleak dreary weather. Second, although the script was salvageable, the acting was flat. I've never been a fan of his but her performance came off as monotone and lackluster. Hallmark needs to aim to let actors display a moderate level of passion rather than passing interest.

This movie is full of beautiful scenery, filmed in British Columbia. I'll give Hallmark credit for really splurging on the budget. However, you're better off watching it with the sound off, as the lead actress Leah Renee, has a crackly, nasal voice that is actually painful to listen to. Weirdly, this is the second movie in a row that she's played a character named Claire.

I would have liked to see less environmental protest and more time between the leads. Still, they managed to spend some quality time dancing away from one another and then closer again. I didn't care for so many reviews rudely criticizing Leah Renee especially for her voice. It is unfortunate that Renee would be perfectly type-cast for a much less flattering role. Her natural tendencies make it hard to give her the respect she deserves. She made a good effort to carry off her role as an intelligent, sensible young lady, but admittedly it was with mixed results. She does portray a very sweet, sensitive and caring woman. And I think she connects with Chris McNally. McNally was solid throughout. It's also unfortunate that the plot was a bit simplistic and predictable. Still, if you aren't turned off by an actress's voice, it was a nice romance story. I liked the final sequence.

The main actress had a super annoying voice that was like nails on a chalkboard. Her character also had a manipulative personality and was a baby. The sailboat itself was gorgeous. The hilarious part was there were multiple times they had the sailboat "moving" but you could clearly see it was anchored.
