"He's incredibly weird. And talented," my wife coughed during the show. (She has a cold.) "Hugely weird. Hugely talented," I replied. The beatbox raps are the most awesome. Watts lays down a loop with beatboxing, then sings over the loop with weird (pseudo)profound raps, singing, and harmonizing. Watts has an awesome singing voice. Who knew? There are several skits with comedic actors that are as lame as a bad SNL bit. They punctuate the show and drop the rating one star. But they're forgivable, given Watts' inspired live performance. The ending credits are a short rave with the audience dancing, featuring lights and trippy effects trails. I'm a wine drinker, personally, but those of you in-the-know will find this scene highly worthy.

This was the most cringeworthy piece of media I have ever beared witness to. I thought Amy Schumer was the dregs of comedy, until I watched this garbage. I would gladly watch the entire Amy Schumer standup anthology than watch 10 minutes more of this insult to comedy.

If you don't like Reggie Watts then you won't like this show. The main content is classic improv from a truly one of a kind talent. The other two reviews (at the time of this writing) sound like Anton Ego to me. There is some sketch stuff that doesn't quite hold up to Reggie's normal quality but it doesn't ruin it. I've only enjoyed one other beat boxer more than Reggie and that would be Radio Active.

Oh, the lost art of clowning. I thought it was dead. And it was a good thing to have it dead. And an unkempt man falling down after moving on a "deceivingly flat" surface is boring. Maybe if the guy would have that combined with something else, say like Teller from Penn and Teller combines another anachronistic form of entertainment to bring something new and expressive. Reggie Watts fails. Contact me with Questions, Comments or Suggestions ryitfork @ bitmail.ch

What was this and how did it ever get a national spot on air? This show just goes to proves that anyone can now call themselves a "model" even if they weigh 600 lbs.; a "journalist" even if they can't write or have a terrible grasp of the English language; or as in this case a "comic", without having to ever back it up with anything remotely funny.
