I have to admit, the first time I saw nudity in this movie (does not happen just once mind you), I was more than surprised. Seems with the restrictions lifted he had early on in his career regarding movies and ethical codes and all that, Hitchcock did not mind really going places.
So it is not just using euphimisms anymore, but it is also not used to titilate or excite (at least not "normal" people). But apart from that and if you can handle that, there is quite an intriguing story of not whodunnit, we get that answer quite early on, but more about a wrongly accused man, who has to prove he's innocent. Will he be able to do so? A very abrupt ending gives us the answer, satisfying or not? Well tough to answer that one ... still Hitchcock knew what he was doing and a lot of great moments inside this one

You should be warned that "Frenzy" has one of the most gruesome rape/murder scenes ever filmed - beautifully filmed, of course, so that you don't look away, but that makes it all the more terrible. It's followed by one of Hitchcock's great signature shots, as the camera draws back, out of the building, into the crowded and noisy streets, where the scene of the crime becomes just one room among many. That's "Frenzy" for you. It's one of Hitchcock's most assured and gripping films; but it's pretty grim. Everyone in London looks surprisingly ugly. Their characters, from hero to villain, are a trifle uglier too. But don't expect a happy ending. Things go just a little bit past the point where a happy ending is possible.
