Acting is bad but there wasn't much for them to work with. Bad writing and unnecessary religious overtones jammed in.

The story was recycled from other movie ideas and the scenes moved very slow. The continuous monotonous piano music from the film's sound track was irritating. The lead character Lauren Vandervoort as Donovan owner of a coffee shop, is struggling with lost love and a struggling business, She is a mesmerizing beauty. WOW! Is she ever gorgeous and cute. She looks a lot like a younger Charlize Theron. The camera really loves her or maybe so did the cameraman. She is definitely the woman that every guy would love to take home to meet the parents. Cory M. Grant (related to Cary Grant?) is the struggling writer who falls for Donovan. While watching this movie I could not help notice the striking resemblance Cory has with a young Rick Hudson. With Cory's hair combed back and clean shaven he could play Rock Hudson in a bio picture about the movie star Rock Hudson. ARE YOU READING THIS CASTING DIRECTORS?!! So the story not so interesting, but very interesting watching these two young actors that have a lot of potential for their future in film!

I can't believe I was able to finish this terrible film. Wow what a terrible movie. Even as a show it would be awful. Cheesy as heck and what guy would give this main character a second chance? Especially in the beginning of a relationship? Unbelievable fluff piece. The boyfriend attempts to help her out by leasing out her place and she goes out and fumes about it. What the heck is wrong with that? Just awful.

A truly charming movie...predictable but that's what we want from romantic comedies, isn't it? Our heroine, the much beloved Donavan struggles to keep her coffee shop open and her love life afloat...excellent cast, a really solid script, and very well edited...hard not to cross at least a few clichés and barriers with this genre, but this one actually does not lean too heavily on the standards...highly recommended...makes you want to believe in love again...sigh

The storyline was good, but it didn't go anywhere. Kevin Sorbo I can always watch, but right at the end the vitriol coming from the lead female, egged on by her sister was so out of syrupy sweet character. "You dont belong in this town !" wow ! strong stuff, then he declares his love. He should have retaliated and walked out after her outburst .

I watch movies so that I can escape my world for a few moments and feel good. Life's stresses and challenges can bring you down. And a good movie helps you lift yourself back up so that you can conquer a new day. I very much enjoyed this movie as I can identify with all the characters, and celebrate the positive moments in life. There was nothing in this movie that depressed me or brought me down. I was not forced to contemplate someone else's political views or life's cruel twists of fate. It left me hopeful and rejuvenated, just what I needed! I thought the acting was excellent and very convincing. Both of the leads did an excellent job, and the supporting cast was excellent as well.

As a lover of romantic comedies, this one is not great. I wasn't aware that this was a Christian theme movie when I started watching it, but it began to exhibit the copy/paste feel of a Hallmark movie, so when I went to check out reviews (because maybe I was just being cynical), I was not surprised - made-for -Christian movies tend to be poor imitations, borrowing (a kinder term than it deserves) from superior romantic comedies. I have absolutely nothing against creating a family-friendly movie, but the lack of realism in this film is a moving testament to how people wish the world is, rather than reality, which made it very difficult to even finish the film without multiple eye rolls. The acting is good for the most part - the female lead is beautiful and has charisma, but is almost too beautiful/do-good-er to be realistic in this role. The actress portraying her sister is quite wooden. The best acting of the bunch actually came from Kevin Sorbo, so color me surprised there. I really wanted to love this movie - it's been such a long time since I've seen a good Rom-com and I am a sucker for a coffee/tea romance, but sadly this was not it. The plot too contrived and clichéd, the acting too high-school theater, and its worst flaw is that it was dully predictable.

If you're looking for a mindless chick flick, this one's for you. Cliché story line where everything fits perfectly into place--a sunset party just HAPPENED to be there during the end of the date and Ben's "betrayal" was just small enough to be overcome by telling insecure Donavan that he loved her. Not engaging and only mildly entertaining only because of good cinematography. I actually forwarded parts of the movie because I could predict the next scenes. Neat and simple love story--hugely boring.

Great movie! Funny and sweet with a great cast. Love the fact that it had new breakout actors who were awesome, plus how can you NOT love Jon Lovitz? Stole all his scenes and is hilarious. Beautifully shot in some cool small town in the south, it had just a neat vibe to it without trying to be "hip." Natural and organic instead of forced. Really nice movie, great message about love and not giving up.
