Breaker!Breaker! was Chuck Norris' first American-made movie in which he had a leading role. It was also his first movie as a good guy. This ultra-low budget flick has a clean-shaven Chuck playing a truck driver searching for his lost brother in a corrupt town run by an even more corrupt judge. While this isn't one of Chuck's best films, it is worth a watch for diehard Norris fans. I have to admit I love watching Chuck beat up bad guys and this movie delivers the goods. While the movie does drag at certain points, the fight sequences make up for the slow pacing. It's also quite obvious that this movie was made to capitalize on the CB craze of the 70's.

Breaker! Breaker! is not the the sort of movie that would ever be eligible for any kind of rewards consideration, but for what it is, it succeeds on its own merits. Breaker! Breaker! is a CB/ redneck trucker karate movie that is a good vehicle for Chuck Norris to show his fighting skills in his 1st leading role. Obviously riding the on the popularity of Smokey And The Bandit, The Dukes Of Hazard and Convoy. This drive in action movie is good entertainment for sure with awesomely bad acting, 70's redneck trucker stuff and Chuck Norris beating up a bunch of hillbillies with no chance who don't know who they are messing with. Breaker! Breaker! is hilarious and a lot of campy fun. While this is by no means the best Chuck Norris movie, you can certainly do much worse. It is a hard movie to take seriously, but if you enjoy the movie Convoy and like low budget karate movies, Breaker! Breaker! is for you good buddy. That is a big 10/4 , over and out.

Oh how I miss the message boards. This film was made for one reason only...to watch good ol Chuck walk around and kick some people in the chest. That being said, sometimes that is all it takes to make a watchable movie. There are some shallow supporting cast and a love interest that I think I blinked too long while watching and they became a couple. There's also a nice nod to the camaraderie of mid-70s truckers on their CBs. So to wrap up, some fun martial arts from Mr. Norris. I've seen a heck of a lot worse. Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door.

Chuck singlehandedly kills an entire town. Truckers burn it down with diesel and CB radios. End of story.

Does this movie get a 9/10 for being a well thought out and intelligent movie? Hell no, it gets a 9 for being the funniest so-bad-it's-good movie of all time. I don't think I've ever laughed harder at a movie and it stays just as funny every time I watch it. I just can't believe that the folks that made this film thought that they were producing a serious film. It should be under comedy. Everybody knows that Chuck Norris can't act to save is life but in this movie, none of the actors can. The story is so incredibly simple that it is completely summed up in the tagline "A town without justice, a hero without fear." It also had horrible editing and direction. If the Mystery Science Theater guys haven't tackled this movie yet, it should certainly be the next one. This movie is great for a laugh but pretty much nothing else. It gets a 9 for entertainment value and how easy it is to make fun of with a group of friends. Check it out!

for a Chuck Norris film, this one isn't that bad.it's one of this earlier ones.it's not his best by any means.but it is a lot of fun to watch.the plot is nothing new.corrupt town town, run by a corrupt judge and corrupt police.older brother sets out to find younger brother who disappears on his first solo trucking run.finds out out he may be somewhere in the corrupt town, either dead or alive.older brother sets out to rescue younger brother and becomes a one man wrecking crew.that's the synopsis in a nutshell.obviously there's lots of martial arts action.and it's actually pretty well done.there aren't a lot of flashy camera tricks to make it look fancy.the acting is adequate for this genre.i've seen much worse in my time.for me,Breaker! Breaker! is a 6/10

I don't think I've ever witnessed such a remarkable form of art. Chuck Norris punched a hick in the groin. It was awesome. Later on, he had a make-out fight. Yeah, him and yet another hick were rolling around in the hay, doing you-know-what. The rough kind, with wood. Watch it. Also, if your curtains ever blow in the middle of the night (which happens to include daylight), chances are A SEMI WILL BUST THROUGH THE WALL. Don't miss out on this blockbuster hit! Just for the pirate, too! "I'm gonna stick ya!" Then comes the crab-man.
