Limboland is a place where we find the gaps in life. From a fantastically downbeat version of Happy Birthday - via a hilarious tale of a disastrous family trip to see the Northern Lights - to a heart-rending country and western ballad on the nature of love, Bill explores our expectations of happiness with his trademark wit and musicality.

One of Bailey's strongest shows in a few years, very funny and musically creative as you would expect. There's no one can touch him for comedy songs and you always feel a tingle of excitement when he picks up an instrument or strolls over behind the synth. As the years march on for all of us, he has a slightly more sedate pace in this show but the material is strong and as surreal as ever. Really cheered me up in the current climate. Such a powerful finish to the show too. Highly recommended. Enjoy

Hilarious story about the Northern Lights Holiday I laughed out loud at that. His clever perspective on life so apt but he makes it funny instead of depressing. His musical talent is exceptional. This is as good as his previous one man shows in the past. Wonderful person adept to so many things. Thank you for making me laugh in these awful times.

Stand-up comedian Bill Bailey is in superb form in this performance, moving effortlessly from the spoken word to music and musical pastiche. The show's highlights include a pessimist "Decay of the Weimar Republic" version of "Happy Birthday", a heavy-metal cover of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and a sad tale of an encounter with a Living Legend degenerating into nervous gibberish. The show can be enjoyed on its own merits but it becomes even funnier if you're somewhat familiar with Bailey's earlier work, for instance in the "Black Books" comedy series. Now let the chickens march on Kiev !
