Honestly, I love the original 90s show so it's nice to see it revive again for 2022 nowadays the modern animation is hit and miss and some are say too "woke" but not Beavis and Butt head movie this is fantastic too every fan of original series if I am honest this is better than original love the jokes and nice to see it made big comeback. I hope to see more content since I love every minute of this movie the humor is the same as the jokes thank you for this respected the fans.

Nobody goes into this movie expecting much in the realm of intellectual enlightenment, and proudly this movie delivers. The general theme is similar to "Beavis and Butthead Do America," in that the two idiots end up on an adventure that they are too stupid to understand. Nevertheless the gags and situations are pretty darn funny, and Mike Judge has done a good job of bringing the humor into a modern context. This time around the duo are a bit more intelligent than they were back in the day (not by much). Their vocabulary is a bit more advanced as is their critical thinking. Beavis even shows a few signs of personal growth. Also a tad bit is revealed regarding family and personal history. All told this movie does the franchise justice. If you were dumb enough to enjoy the classic series, you will be happy to see this new addition to their moronic exploits.

I'm very happy about this. It's toilet, juvenile humor and I was cracking up for the majority of this movie. If you liked the show or Beavis and Butthead do America than you are in for a treat.

I came for the idiocy, I stayed for the story. I was expecting a story like B&B Do America - but this is better. I would have been content hearing my favorite two idiots spitting out phrases like cornholio - TP for my bunghole and FIRE for a couple hours... but it actually came with a decent story of political intrigue. As usual the adults have all their own motivations, while B & B note things like - that sign says Johnson - and they remain obsessed with * and phallic symbols. I don't know if the humor translates for people that weren't young in the 90's - I'm sure my score got a couple stars for nostalgia. I'll be curious to read what people write that weren't around when B & B were everywhere. (Glad I caught the Mike Judge interview on Rogan.) It makes me want to rewatch Office Space and Idiocracy this week, too.

Don't get me wrong, there are a half dozen belly laughs in this movie but the environment over the past couple of years has been so ripe for subversive humour which this movie studiously ignores. Covid isn't even mentioned once and when our heroes find themselves in a gender studies class the swivel eyed loons are given a free pass. But then again this is an MTV product we're talking about here so far from being edgy or subversive what you get is straight down the line corporate conformity.

Man I havent realized how much I missed these dumb s S and how it made me laugh. And I watched it all the way through which is more and more rare these days without skipping parts or scanning through the bleak boring trash of today. However it did feel slightly off. Sure the core jokes were there and they knew what strings to pull for nostalgia's sake but they werent quite the nutty B&B of the past. Those two were far more crude, far more liberal to criticise whatever came to mind and in general went where no other cartoons went really, unless you count fictional Itchy and Scratchy from Simpsons :) All in all, loved seeing them however dislike this atmosphere of today keeping everything sterile and the jokes mild, no more putting up direct mirror to the lunacy of certain individuals, situations or groups. Beavis and Butthead used to do that , not so much anymore.

I will do my best to review this from a point of view removed from my own because frankly I'm a huge B&B fan and this is the movie I've been waiting for. From a fans POV it's a 10/10. It's everything you love from the show (including even Daria as a background character!) minus the videos. It amazes me how the writers continue to find new angles on old B&B tropes, like their ability to find a crude sexual innuendo in just about any scenario. Honestly, just watching this alone had me laughing more uncontrollably (had to pause and rewind more than a few times) than I can recall laughing at B&B Do America in a packed theater at an opening day matinee when my friends and I cut class to go see it. I always thought the jokes had ran low pretty quickly in that movie and it never begged my attention for repeat viewings. This new movie, on the other hand, is one I think I'll watch a lot more in the future. It just had so much more to offer. The jokes were funnier and not front loaded to the first half of the film: it's consistently funny from beginning to end and unlike a lot of TV to movie adaptations doesn't have pacing issues: there's just too much going on honestly as it's a very busy movie. But, for as busy as it is, it somehow never loses focus or the audiences attention. BIG SPOILER!! One of my favorite aspects of the film was characters acknowledging Beavis and Butthead for exactly what they are: somewhat innocent yet dumb horny kids who only think in terms of sex. This moment of recognition was thankfully small and not at all meta: just a character not being totally oblivious to their constant double entendres. I really hope this opens up the characters to a new series because this movie effortlessly figured out how to bring the characters from the 90s (with that attitude and sensibility somehow intact and still effective) to our current times. Paramount, I feel, really dropped the ball by not sending this to theaters this summer. It's a perfect summer popcorn comedy, and I feel, as funny as it was watching it alone, that seeing it with an audience of others laughing too would just enhance that. I think it would've made a decent profit at least. Sadly, paramount plus doesn't even seem to be advertising it much.

This was exactly what it needed to be. Having the dated references and adding a few pc things that make no sense to them. I just finished watching an episode of touched by an angel......
