If I could take back that 1 hour and 35 minutes, I would. What or why was this movie ever made?

So very bad! wasted time! not even boring, stupid, stupid movie!

I read the reviews but still decided to give it a chance. I tried to enjoy this movie but the acting, story, pretty much everything about this makes it impossible. If you decide to watch this you will regret wasting even 5 minutes of your life

Lethargic performances from the cast. Dull as dirt. You'll be very upset that you wasted your time on this movie.

Sometimes you just have to wonder how bad movies get made. Having an interest in 'end of the world' movie themes, the plot of After Darkness sounded intriguing. And the premise still is, it's everything else that went wrong. The film starts off very slow and dry. The dialog is flat. The acting rises a touch above mediocre, but not by much. There is no energy or vitality to the story-telling. Throughout the film, I kept hoping, and expecting, it would get better but it never did.

No reason to watch this movie. As you have already guest, it's a movie about the end of the wold and how a family deals with it. BUT why see this movie when there is a MUCH better one. So just don't bother an go see Lars von Triers Melancholia!!

First of all, I find it disheartening that this has such a low rating. I just finished the film and I found it to be extremely interesting. The dynamics of the family and the circumstances they and the citizens of planet Earth were going through. Fine acting by everyone involved. One of the very best films Ihave seen in this genre. See for yourself. High praise for this film.

I make it a point to watch a movie BEFORE I read the user reviews. People who say this is the worst movie they've ever seen must have only seen four or five movies in their lives. Heck, I've seen worse movies this week!! A great movie ? No. But as bad as reviewers are making it out to be ? Absolutely not! Seems like a lot of "piling on " here.
