I just got home from seeing this movie. I felt compelled to come on here, or anywhere else that I can to warn people not to waste their money on it! I was in the theater with about a dozen other people, and I barely heard anyone else laugh, at all. I know I didn't. The movie doesn't suck you in, I found that it barely kept my attention. The acting is really pretty bad, and there's nobody that "likeable" that keeps you wanting to watch. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the reviews that I heard were wrong. It's not funny. It was just a simple movie, and didn't have much comedic value to it at all. I wish I could get my money back. If you want to laugh, go see The Change Up!

The first 30 minutes are upbeat and the comic relief is par. Once the plot begins, McBride's relentless babbling just wears on the senses, dragging everything else good about this film. This movie could have been much funnier if McBride's character wasn't so annoying. If it wasn't for Jesse and Aziz this movie would have been a complete flop. About half way through the pre-screening some of the audience members walked out, I wish I would have as well. I thought the soundtrack was probably the best part of the film. Overall disappointing coming from Fleischer, the director of Zombieland. I would like to see more from Fleischer, just keep McBride at home next time.

One of these Hollywood geniuses needs to write a movie with the cast from this movie!! Don't care about scheduling just make it happen!! The story is great, because as some might remember this actually happened in real life some time ago. So to have those 2 kidnapping, bomb making buffoons cast as 2 of the funniest guys in the biz was brilliant. Not to mention JE,AA,and my favorite character the most hard core gangster in the city if not the country or world Micheal Pena!!!! Pure gold!!

The film is kind of mocking lazy, dumb and criminals. Homer-sexual jokes at the beginning. That feels like puke. The whole thing was impossible of course but kind of intriguing enough to stick with it. I had at least three lol moments in the film. Good enough for TV at least.

I think I had to give this one a star rating; so, I tried to give it one-eighth of a star and I'm not sure if it will work. So, if it shows as one star, please keep in mind my intent. I never thought I'd see a need to go negative on stars, but this one would fir the bill. I'll not go into a long dissertation . Suffice it to say that boring, tedious, juvenile, stupid all are descriptors that over inflate my opinion of this _____. I had to leave that blank, because this is not even good enough to be called a movie, let alone a film. Save you money - even excellent layered butter popcorn doesn't make seeing this worthwhile.

An improbable situation witch reminds me of "Pinneaple Express". Things that can't -in a daily basis- happen and could get even worse faster than you think. 30 minutes or less is what to need to see this movie won't make you crap out your pants laughing, but will present you with some funny crazy stupidities that leads the story in some out of the possible situation (truth to be told: you'd like to tell your grandkids 30 years from now if it did happen to you). I'm kinda tired of stupid characters doing stupid things. They're stupid, being stupid is not that funny, speak like an idiot even less, but yet, producers insist on and make them sociable morons. This is those kinds of movies made to relax your mind watching something that does not make you think. If you can watch it with mates drinking some beer when you've done a lot in that weekend and just wanna relax, the movie is made for your. If not... go watch a documentary.

30 Minutes or Less is about as good as you would expect based on the trailers. There was nothing groundbreaking here, but there was never a lull. The acting was good, but a bit shaky. I thought Jesse Eisenberg did the best, though he was probably playing a dirty mouthed version of himself. Aziz Ansari was given the best lines of the film, but his acting was the shakiest, definitely not with the confidence he has on Parks and Recreation. Danny McBride plays the same character he always plays, but at least he does it well. All in all it was a good film, had me laughing the whole time. There was definitely an excess of foul language, but it was to be expected with this film. I haven't seen another movie similar this summer, so I would recommend it.

I watched this movie because I wanted to check if I just automatically like anything Danny McBride does. Turns out he plays it kind of straightforward in this one. He doesn't say all the crazy stuff he usually throws out there. Same for the movie: it looks like it's going to be totally nuts, but takes things surprisingly serious for a lot of the time. Turned out to be enjoyable enough to pass the time, nothing in the writing or performances that bothered me. Even Nick Seward was tolerable. But I don't expect to watch it again. I do hope Dilshad Vadsaria gets some more roles out of this, because she looked amazing. I'll still watch anything with Danny, but as far as the writer, director, and all the other performers...meh.
