The leads had good chemistry and I liked how their relationship developed. It wasn't anything extraordinary but there was a sweetness to it and their interactions. As the movie progressed, you could see them start caring for each other in small ways. They were two single people who found love in each other. I thought that because they had started off on the wrong foot that they would constantly butt heads in the movie, but this time around the writers were all about mature characters, so although they did misunderstand each other at first, they were able to resolve it and work together. There were short bursts of humour sprinkled throughout the movie so overall it was quite heartwarming in the end.

"Single in Seoul" offers a refreshing take on the complexities of modern life, steering away from the conventional love story and delving into deeper themes of overcoming emotional wounds, self-acceptance, gaining self-confidence, and professional fulfillment. The movie's emphasis on personal growth and introspection sets it apart from typical romantic dramas. Love is present, but it takes a backseat to the protagonist's journey of healing and self-discovery. The narrative unfolds as a quiet reflection, inviting viewers to explore the intricacies of the human psyche. One of the notable aspects of the film is its subdued nature, with intellectual conversations taking precedence over action and passion. This stylistic choice may resonate well with some viewers who appreciate a more contemplative approach, but it might leave others seeking a more dynamic and eventful storyline. The acting in "Single in Seoul" deserves commendation, as the cast effectively embodies the nuanced characters. Lee Dong-Wook's portrayal is particularly noteworthy, and it seems like he brought elements of his own personality into the role. The authenticity of the performances adds depth to the characters, making their journeys more relatable. The movie's pacing and lack of high-intensity moments might be a drawback for those accustomed to more fast-paced narratives. However, for those willing to embrace the subtlety of the storyline, "Single in Seoul" offers a thought-provoking experience. In conclusion, "Single in Seoul" stands as a commendable exploration of personal growth and self-discovery, with love serving as a backdrop to the protagonist's journey. The film's quiet and intellectual tone, coupled with strong performances, creates a unique cinematic experience that may not appeal to everyone but is likely to resonate with those seeking a more introspective and character-driven narrative.

I watched this movie only for Lee Dong Wook. Beside him, the story is good and the other actors and actresses are good. Lee Dong Wook is always outstanding in his every character. Overall this movie is pleasing to watch. The movie is about the single life of person who loves to do everything himself. The story of this movie is different from most common stories of now a days movies so it makes you to watch this movie. If you are a Wook's fan then you must watch this movie because it's different from his other works. If you are not fan of his then I will recommend you to watch this movie you will become fan of his works.

"Single in Seoul" takes audiences on a captivating journey of love and self-discovery as it unfolds the tale of a writer tasked with continuing a book titled "Single in Seoul" due to his status as a single man in the city. The film intricately explores the nuances of dating and relationships, offering insights into the perspectives of both men and women navigating the complexities of courtship. The film proves to be incredibly enjoyable, capturing the audience's attention from the beginning to the midpoint. The cinematography stands out with its visually stunning scenes, providing a delightful feast for the eyes. The intriguing title and theme were what initially drew me to the film. However, the narrative falls short of expectations associated with the film's title and theme. It lacks the depth one would anticipate, particularly in exploring the life of a single person, whether by choice or principle, who becomes entangled in situations prompting personal transformation or reaffirming their commitment to the single life. The film also misses a climactic moment. "Single in Seoul" has its merits and delivers an enjoyable experience. However, personally (as a single individual), the film falls short in capturing the essence of the "single" experience, making it less relatable. I believe it could have delved deeper into the profound exploration of "single" themes, resulting in an overall rating of 7/10.
