... But touching. Somewhat predictable without being overly syrupy. The ending takes artistic license and it leaves on an up-note. Too bad they had to feed the evil beast with just the one industry required blasphemy.

But how thick is it really? And can it be forced to live together? All questions that can be answered here - sort of. Because we all are different aren't we? I personally do not have those issues with family members - but hey conflicts make movies work. So the issues they have here are supposed to be resolved - and of course that only means that we get to see a lot of drama and conflict. It is quite well written and it has some fine scenes and really good acting in it. Some will dig it more than others - as always I reckon. Not bad.

Good acting. Very well shot. Anytime you watch an Italian film all I wanna do is drink wine and eat pasta! Being Italian, we have the best fashion, food, fast cars and fast motorcycles....

Save 2 hrs of your life. This movie is shallow, weak and quite silly. Watched half and decided this can get no better. Just a load of dribble stretched out. Very good for the insomniacs.

The entire movie felt real and based on real characters but the ending threw me off almost completely. I don't wanna give any spoilers but there's this element that appears out of nowhere, creates a plot twist and gives you somewhat of a happy ending. I was like "what just happened???". I guess that's what they call Deus ex machina. From wiki: a plot device whereby a seemingly unsolvable problem in a story is suddenly and abruptly resolved by an unexpected and unlikely occurrence.

I started watching without too many expectations but it's a beautiful movie and the most important thing for me, it's a movie with a message, with something to learn.

It's flawed but it's an enjoyable feel good movie. Its story is interesting, heartwarming and tries to deliver a nice message but sometimes it drags while some other times it rushes, and sometimes it gets a bit cheesy. This movie is far from being a masterpiece but it's still good and entertaining, see it with no high expectations.

You often find gems where you least expect them. Roberto Capucci not only wrote but also directed this great film. Capucci will become one of the great Italian filmmakers if he follows this path, I am convinced. Good music, excellent actors, great story, pleasant atmosphere, heartfelt drama. Of course, there is no action, spin and brutality in it - that's why xyz, etc. Generation will not do. But if you open your mind, let yourself go, and let it take you, you will really enjoy it. **Spoilers: The plot itself is not original or creative. Another family movie whose clan gets united because of a father's passing. They are "forced" to live together, with their different personalities and traumas. As time goes by, the uncle, stereotyped as the "black sheep of the family" is able to bring peace, union, redemption and acceptance to the unresolved issues faced by the family. The most interesting part of the story is when Sebas, a schizophrenic son, hardly understood by the family, while sedated in a hospital bed, "steps out of it", in a metaphysical way, "forgives" each member of the family and gives them a sense of direction. That was that part that really gave depth to the movie and ultimately exceeded my expectations.
