I was not expecting much but I truly enjoyed it! The clever changes of costumes, the details told in little words to try and fit as much story as possible... we go through Diana's marriage from the first meeting with Charles to the divorce and the Paris accident. The Charles-Camilla relationship take a lot of space but is useful to understand Diana's suffering in her marriage. Actors, even if they don't resemble the real royals 100%, do a wonderful job of portraying them, so they're credible. If you liked the Crown, you might like this.

Textbook Broadway. Reminded me a bit of a school play. Songs are okay, acting mediocre, but lighting, stage, costumes etc. Are great. It has its moments but ends up being more of a parody than a life story. Doesn't do Diana justice.

It really it's decent, As some have said it's a textbook musical but it's entertaining enough to keep you hooked and the music is good. It also serves to spark the curiosity in the audience about Lady Di's story if you didn't know her before and it makes you want to investigate more about her. The actors did well too!

I think it will appeal to a younger audience. It's fun!

I found it interesting and actual very entertaining. A fast moving show that carries the story along. Sorry there are so many negative comments but I doubt the critics could do better.

So very disappointing. Lyrics so amateurish they could have been written in a 7th grade drama class. Dance numbers laughable. Just a waste.

The lyrics, the music, the costumes... It is so bad and cringey I could barely get through the first 12 minutes of it, and decided not to stick it out for 75 more. Diana is nothing more than a clueless ditz, Charles an oblivious snob and the Queen an emotionless drill sergeant. Nothing likable or even remotely enjoyable about any of the characters, not even Diana. Lyrics and dialogue written from a meta point of view, like everyone knows how this ends and does what they do anyway. No emotion, no depth, no motivation to any of the characters. This is cringey even for old school Broadway lovers.

Ridiculous, laughable, toe curlingly awful. More questions than answers...Why didn't they ask some English people to check the script? Why are the paparazzi in 1940s fancy dress? Why was Wales labelled? What were they thinking making this at all? Is it actually supposed to be a comedy?

I laughed so hysterically through this I was brought to tears multiple times. A+ acid trip of cringe, awe and downright befuddlement. Anyone that rated this above a 2 needs to be examined.
