Sure, I wasn't really expecting much from a movie with the title "Amityville Vibrator". But since it was labeled as a horror comedy, I figured I would give it a go on the off chance that it might actually be goofy enough to be watchable. Don't even bother with this 2020 trash movie, and yeah, it is trash. It is nothing but an excuse for writer and director Nathan Rumler to show off explicit adult scenes of * and lewd behavior. I can't even begin to fathom why people would opt to put their names and faces to rubbish such as this 2020 movie titled "Amityville Vibrator". Needless to say that the acting performances were nothing to write home about. Nor were I familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, which surprisingly enough all don't even have faces on their IMDb profiles. This was an abominable movie, and it is laughable that it could be labeled as a horror comedy, as it was essentially *. I watched the cut that was edited for the European market, but I don't know how much if differs from the US version. Not that I actually care in any way. Do yourself a favor and give "Amityville Vibrator" a wide berth. My rating of writer and director Nathan Rumler's 2020 swing and miss of a movie lands on a one out of ten stars.

AMITYVILLE VIBRATOR is a film that is pretty extreme in regard to the content and subject matter. This film isn't meant to be taken too serious but it's one of those films that would certainly cause some outrage if viewed by the wrong person. At just 63-minutes director Nathan Rumier does everything he can to keep the viewer off guard. With a title like AMITYVILLE VIBRATOR one should know what they're getting into. Basically, this * spends a lot of time up certain women and if this is your thing then you'll have a lot to enjoy here. I thought the film was an A+ as far as effort goes but at the same time the 63-minute running time feels twice as long and there are just a few too many scenes that don't work. One such scene is an extended "trip" and this here just goes on way too long and brings the film to a complete stop and it just never remains it's momentum. There's nudity throughout as well as various sexual situations including a dummy with a large *. The highlights of the film are the special effects from James and Amanda Bell. If you haven't seen any of their films then you should. There's some extreme gore and violence here and to me this was the best stuff in the film.

Look, if all director and writer Nathan Rumler (Fangboner, Gay for Pray: The Erotic Adventures of Jesus Christ) had done was write this movie's tagline, "For God's sake, get off!" and never even made the movie, we'd be fine. However, I made a deal with a lesser demon to get Arrow blu rays for free, which means that now I must review every Amityvlille movie or pay for their latest releases with something worth way more than my paycheck. Cathy (Corella Waring, CarousHELL) has done the unthinkable. She's bought a marital aid at a yard sale, which may be the most wrong of the many wrong things in this movie. The more she and her girlfriend Roxi (Mallory Maneater) use the titular evil wand upon one another, the more chance that the demons that possessed the residents of 112 Ocean Avenue will find their way into their loins. And their souls, I guess. Also, the * can talk. Also, there's Spanky, a possessed ventriloquist dummy that rips off a man's face and then has sex with a woman. Also, there's a murder scene juxtaposed with a sex scene. Also, a character asks "Perform an exorcism on my (slang for part of anatomy)." Also, two characters take mushrooms in the woods for real and in real time we watch them wander all over the place. Meanwhile, Chad (Rumler) - the ex-boyfriend of Cathy - and his partner Mallory (Emily Hilborn) are kind of cosplaying Friday the 13th the Series except they are hunting down all of the cursed objects from the DeFeo house and only have one object left. Yes, the magical *. That said, in no way is this movie for anyone easily offended by, well, anything. It's exactly what it promises to be and much, much worse. It's a grimy, gross and upsetting movie that's definitely going to have an audience. And well, I guess I'm in it because I have to see every Amityville movie and write them up if I want that UHD of They Call Her One Eye without suffering in Hell for all eternity. Mitigating factor: a male cover version of the spraying amputation in Tenebre, copious amounts of well-done gore and people who are all obviously having fun making this. Honestly, this movie gave me the same feelings I had watching Cannibal Holocaust and that says to me that despite watching every Bruno Mattei and Joe D'Amato movie this year, I am still human after all.

I love this movie because it's so disturbing but in all the best ways. The whole vibe is like a 90s cult horror film which is great because they just don't make them like that anymore. I love the cheesiness of the dialogue and the choice of music. Definitely give this movie a chance if you're a fan cheesy lines and old-school gore effects.

This film knows what it's after and it goes for it with gusto. That said, I don't know who this film was made for. On the one hand it is absolutely a silly, cheesy, b grade horror film with enough dumb humor to satisfy as a get together and get high movie. On the other hand it is more sexually explicit than I would watch with a group of friends, unless I wanted everybody to feel more than a little uncomfortable. When I say dumb humor I mean there is a scene where the main protagonist sees a ventriloquist dummy that wasn't there a minute ago. She goes and gets her friend to see it. When they walk back into the room our protagonist says "Where is it?" and her friend says "What are you talking about, it's right there", and they show the ventriloquist dummy, but it has on a fake mustache, and the protagonist says "It seems different for some reason." It's a gleefully dumb film that never takes itself too seriously. And don't worry, the ventriloquist dummy bangs our protagonist with its big doll *. There's a fair amount of blood and gore, and each sequence that includes either one is executed with varying degrees of success. The ladies who get naked are easy enough on the eyes, but at no point did I find myself turned on. The male who gets naked does so to comedic effect each time. The lighting throughout often dilutes clarity, but never to any real detriment. The ending is a muddled thing that doesn't give the audience any real closure. Overall I found this to be a pretty enjoyable film, with my only complaints being that the ending is weak, and the nudity precludes it from being something I watch with a group of friends which is what it feels like you should do with it otherwise.
