Not gonna lie, I wasn't too excited by the movie when I saw the cover art (no offense!). I was honestly shocked by how much I enjoyed the movie: Michael Ursu could easily be a star in the future, but it's the music, not the acting, that steals the show. The movie feels less cinematic than it does like a musical/play, but I mean that in the best way possible. P. S.: "Blue Movie" is a hit and needs to be on Spotify as a single!

The Second Age of Aquarius Review What happens when you conjure a somewhat flawed resurrection of the late and once almost great legendary rock and roll rocker Russell Aquarius (Michael Ursu)? In the way Jim Morrison had his Patricia to guide him through dimly lit passages of the occult, Russell's Alberta (Christina Jacquelyn Calph) serves up modern magick by orchestrating electrons, pixels, and programming to make manifest her reincarnated Orpheus. The results of her effort were not exactly what she had planned, but she's not the first woman to try to fix up her man's rough spots! Russell Aquarius is delivered into modern times with all the charm, beauty, and bumps of a messenger from a long ago time. And what sparkling playful, innocent, fun he has discovering Alberta's world as her idol and lover. She manages to transform her relationship with him from something of a groupie (he has trouble remembering her name) to his Juliet. Not exactly star crossed lovers but close -the twinkling of computer coding which makes his presence possible is as unstable and unpredictable as Russell's next words. Darren Smith's songs, performed by Ursu are beautiful. The screenplay was written by Staci Layne Wilson (Director) and Darren Gordon Smith. This film is fun and delightful, available on Prime VOD. By Bob Gratrix.

Let's be honest and say this is clearly a low budget film with challenges, but that aside, we all watch a lot of low budget films that do not have the level of unique dialogue, groovy music, and great performances we find in this one. I was pleasantly surprised by all the good acting that we rarely see in these low budget films. I thoroughly enjoyed the acting from the daughter Alberta (Christina Jacquelyn Calph) and her mother Tawny (Brooke Lewis Bellas) and I think Russell (Michael Ursu) was well cast with his obvious charm and musical talents. The agent Sid (Martin Olsen) was hilarious in his role too. I think what this film lacks in budget and technical expertise, it makes up for in fun.

I loved this. Fun, a little silly, well worth watching and an awesome concept. Who would you bring back from the past via a computer program if you could? In this film Russell Aquarius is brought back to life by Alberta Stevens, who has obsessed over him since her Grandmother was a massive fan. I won't unravel the rest of the plot, you should go see this one or buy/hire it online, sit back and enjoy some light hearted fun. The writers, director, production team and the actors were clearly an amazing team who work so well together. Again - see it any way you can, in all its awesomeness.... P. S: Michael Ursu who plays Russell is pretty easy on the eye too!

I watched this film to see indie Icon Brooke Lewis Bellas. She is great in genre films, but I really like her in comedy like this. She made me laugh again and the writers were very clever and created a humorous film here. I was not familiar with the two young leads, but they were also fantastic in their roles. I was impressed with all the actors and the writing and jokes.

Was surprised at how cute and funny this film was. Both leads played their roles respectively. I do feel like the budget interfered with what could have probably been an awesome final act. But at the end of the day I was there to see one of my favorite actresses Brooke Lewis Bellas. Can never say enough good things about actress Brooke Lewis Bellas. I love her as a Scream Queen, but ohmygah did she have me on the floor with this role. She nailed it again in this funny Mom in Leopard Pants role Tawny. I watch a lot of indie film and I don't think people realize how hard it is to create a character like this without acting way over the top. Brooke Lewis Bellas has the acting ability to layer these roles with the exact amount of reality and subtly. Wish she was in it more. But nonetheless i enjoyed myself.

Don't believe the two 10 stars ratings. They're fabricated by the makers of this movie. This movie, if you can call it a movie (I call it a drama club project), is so boring that I could watch it and play a game on my phone at the same time, and I wouldn't miss anything significant on the movie. The plot is predictable, the acting is mediocre, the climax is so anti climatic, the ending is a dud. If you're trying to kill some time, I suggest you listen to some good music or read a good novel instead. Don't waste more than an hour of your life for this pathetic and weak effort they call a movie like I just did. Learn from my mistake.

Nuff said. These other 8 to 10 star reviews are bogus, apparently done by friends or the production team themselves. The dialogue is lame and appears as if it was written by some high school student who decided to settle on stereotypes and clichés rather than do proper research.... and call that the script. Garbage!
