This flick is truly a dud; open a dictionary, look up "dud", and there this movie will be. The two supposed gal pals are not witty, not funny, not even likeable. It appears that the gal pals were asked to do a lot of ad libbing - here's the setup, do something, roll the camera - and, generally, they let the camera roll way too long on any given scene setup. Consequently, the pace of this thing has the consistency of a slow mud slide. There's a lot of borrowing from other things, like a bad boss/overburdened underling scenario recalling the Devil Wears Prada - altho once you recall and compare the actia; DWP/MerylStreep/Anne Hathaway prototype to what this crowd does w. The same setup, you'll just want to turn if off and put them out of their misery. Poor Milwaukee. :-) lol.

By the time you get to the end of the scene involving the "acid droppers" you will have had enough.

First of all I love this movie very much. I am from India and I have watched this movie 2 times . Nothing wrong with this movie. Yes, it's not a blockbuster movie like marvel Avengers but those who have bored with watching thriller and action movies. They can watch this movie for their refreshment . Its a light and cute movie. Mam Elisabeth Donaldson, you are so cute. Thank you for this movie.

Midwesterners will love this delightful look at two women taking a road trip to Northwoods Wisconsin coupled with delightful laugh out loud situations!

Comedy but not fun, poor acting, no memory point of this movie. Just a mess for two people in this trip. A mess is fine but be funny please

... But actors do not live up to the idea or script of the story. (That's a complex statement) The script and plot of this movie are just wonderful. Unfortunately the casting is lacking in the ability to deliver the lines. Ryann Liebl (Mags) and Elisabeth Donaldson (Julie) are just a bit too cute to be believable. And Wes Tank (the boss) should reconsider his acting abilities. The weekend adventure is fun but the movie just didn't make the mark in its' attempt to be a whimsical and life changing story for Mags & Julie.

I was excited to see this, as it was filmed in Wisconsin, in several areas I'm familiar with. It starts out well, fun seeing the Third Ward and downtown Milwaukee. But then it goes down hill and drags quite a bit. Some heavy editing and more developed characters could have really helped. The end was fairly satisfying, but I was fine with missing long stretches, which my husband still watched. There were promising stretches but then it digressed into predictable and slow too often.

After this year of pandemic, this is a much needed hilarious female comedy. Yes, it's a COMEDY! It's not supposed to be realistic. It's supposed to be ridiculous, outrageous and silly! Which it IS! Great directing, acting and Wisconsin scenery. In the vein of Planes, Trains and Automobiles and Chevy Chase Vacation!
