I thought this film is going to be an average film with drama. But I loved this film a lot when I watched it for the first time. It had drama, comedy, romantic songs, exploring Punjab, family values, everything. I can watch this film again and again and still not get bored. I felt the emotions in the emotional scenes of the family. I laughed on the cute-funny scenes. A family-entertainer, a great debut for fab singer Gurnam Bhullar. Nirmal Rishi's role is awesome as always. Sonam Bajwa in a different roles than her other films like Nikka Zaildar & Carry On Jatta 2, etc. Tania suited her role as a sweet and friendly sibling out of the two. Overall, this film is one of the best Fun Family Entertainer Punjabi film and must be watched.

How watch this...??is here anybody who can explain..??

I liked the film but like most punjabi/ Hindi comedies, it perpetuates colourism. Throughout the film there were references to dark and ugly boys and fair girls. I find this infuriating and I get this is all said in jest but the joke is on anyone a darker shade of milk. Films have so much power to decolonise Indian standards of beauty but instead they choose to humiliate their own people. Also, I found the idea of a western girl heading to a village in punjab to visit her very traditional family showing off her midriff a little unrealistic especially during the wedding celebrations, it suggests western girls have no respect. Maybe times have changed but it seemed strange. Generally the film was good but the above are just some of the things that irked me.

Amazing movie... hilarious ...with a lovely message... definitely worth a watch

Overall the movie is great . Appreciate the character shown by sonam , gurnam , tania and all the other actors. But in many things movie team should need to do well. In the beginning , it was clear that the shooting place is in england not canada. So in the movie the dialogues would be changed like the word canada should be replaced by balaat(UK)

I don't usually watch punjabi films being a punjabi myself prefer Hindi films. For some reason I was drawn to the trailer and I'm so glad I watched it and I'll tell you why. I felt I was transported into Punjab watching this. The way of life and the conversations are very true to life there. There's no over the top drama, just like real life. No villain, just like real life. A driver escorting then everywhere.. yes you guessed it just like real life. They visit temples and go shopping yep just like real life. The film was very enjoyable and made me feel very nostalgic of Punjab. I liked there was no studs just regular people. It's a really fun watch with great comedy elements.
