The Church

If they're not going for an R rating or at least eerie atmosphere over very cheap playstation2 graphics they shouldn't have made this movie. I wasn't expecting much but when the awful digital effects started it just took me out of this movie. I still hung in there because I hate to not finish a movie, but it just got worse. The ending just doesn't make any sense and trys to make some points of being something larger taking place but utterly fails at be compelling . This movie is really boring , which is the cardinal sin of any movie.

Make them sit thru this movie. There are no bright spots in this one.

The cast was disastrous. They are seem to be amateurs, even school kids can do better. And even though the plot was childish, it may offend some religious people. For me, it was just a terrible way to waste my time watching it.

Once again so-call movie critics FALSELY criticized a movie that deserve AWARDS.... Tell you what, watch it yourself, and you can thank me later...ok👌

Yo did I miss the intro that this is a comedy? The only reasonable explanation Bill Moseley to this movie was the body snatchers came and replaced his existence. There's just no way. If I could give this travesty a negative -64 I would. Ok bye. Blessed Be.

One of the worst movie I have ever seen. Please don't waste your time.

I looked forward to this movie as I really like Bill Mosely - and he didn't disappoint, but I found the movie to be very preaching. I had hoped that it would tried to develop more of a creative plot, but throughout the entire movie, I was thinking that this came out of the Mid-west. I kept hoping that there would be a twist, but it kept going in the same direction, and I was disappointed that the movie failed to deliver.

Whomever rated this movie a 10 must have been in it. The storyline was pretty good but that's about it. This movie had potential but the special effects were horrible and the acting was laughable.

I got this film because it stars Clint Howard. Howard doesn't show up until 12 minutes from the end and as a hologram. He doesn't even bring ice cream. The film centers on a church being sold, not being sold, being sold in Philadelphia. The principals got together in the church and are trapped by the Romanian spirit that lives and protects every church from being torn down and turned into a strip mall. The acting was as bad as the script and dialogue. It appears Dom Frank writer/director/producer Dom Frank attempted to merge African-American spiritualism and Romanian myth. It didn't work. Guide: No F-words, sex or nudity.
