This movie was a complete rip-off of Wraith of Khan. Shinzon is a genetically created human (just like Khan). He was abandoned on a desolate world (just like Khan). He has a weapon of ultimate destruction (just like Khan). He hates the captain of the Enterprise, and pursues him to his death (just like Khan). Likewise Data is just another version of Spock. They are both beings ruled by logic. They both sacrifice themselves to save the Enterprise. They both transfer their minds soul, essence, etc... into another being (in Data's case it's B4). Worf is just there when he should be on DS9. The only reason to see this movie is for the special effects. The original (wraith of Khan) was a superior story, and original one!.

The last one made with the second generation crew on board of the USS Enterprise. And I must say that it was a good one. I really enjoyed it. Wear as the previous one the characters were laughable and had a lot of love parts this one doesn't. All characters are back in normal condition and the one love scene you will see turns into a nightmare so on that part it's a Star Trek flick. The effects are also much better but it's the story itself that makes it watchable. Nemesis was the end of an era, it took years before a new generation came on board of the Enterprise. Gore 0/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 3/5 Story 3/5 Comedy 0/5

I wasn't at all impressed with the last Star Trek movie called Star Trek:Insurrection, so my expectations weren't all that high for Star Trek:Nemesis. Well they should've been, because Star Trek:Nemesis is the best Star Trek film since Star Trek II:The Wrath of Khan - and it may be better than that one. This film has got everything, A strong plot, good character developement, brilliant acting, edge of your seat action sequences, great specail effects, and a wonderful musical score.....I was blown away by how good Star Trek:Nemesis was. I found myself immediatly wanting to see it again. I cant wait to add this film to my DVD collection. This is the film that George Lucus wishes that Star Wars Episodes I & II could've been. I cant say enough good about Star Trek:Nemesis I gave this film a perfect score,10 out of 10 stars

I loved it. I used to be a real Trekky several years ago, but kind of grew out of it. This was the kind of Star Trek film I had been waiting to see. Much more involving than Insurrection and an intriguing story that I thought just got better as the film went on. Brent Spiner did a masterful job with his two roles. The special effects were like nothing I had ever seen from Star Trek before. They were brilliantly created and went beyond the typical Star Trek style effects which added extra depth to the film. I have been told that many pure Star Trek fans did not like this film. And I agree that it seemed rather 'un-Star Trek' in many ways. But I think it was these un-Star Trek elements that really boosted this film. It comes in at number 2 of my favorite Star Trek films. Second only to Wrath of Khan. Or perhaps a draw.

Once again I was told that this movie was weak and boring. And I heard it from average Trek fan (like myself). So I watched it for the first time right before the Picard 2020 premiere just for the plot knots. I love slow metaphoric detectives, and I love space trash comedies. Nemesis is a serious movie with couple of revolutionary ideas even for the 21 century. I rate this movie higher than Insurrection and even First Contact. From now on my two favorites of Picard's motion pictures are: Generations and Nemesis. I give it strong 9 out of 10, but push the 10/10, because I'm that type of guy.

I don't know where to start so here goes: Star Trek: Nemesis sucks. Terribly. The script apparently was thrown out early in the making. Next they brought in some corporate sponsors who brought completely unnecessary and (to Star Trek -universe) totally irrational vehicles in silly action sequences. (I'll dub this the Lucas -syndrome: The Movie Shall Have A Speedy Scene For Future Gaming Exploitations.) Then the actors just seemed tired at their parts (who wouldn't be after so much unchanging cliches?) and some were just casted in wrong parts. Star Trek was never about blowing things in pieces and Shoot-First-Ask-Later -mentality that seems to have grasped every small production company in the last decade or two. And in the end the action sequences sucked too (crappy imitation of heroism).

While this one has been wildly panned by so many "fans" and critics, it falls within the "enjoyable if you ignore the nit-picky errors" category. One of the glaring errors was the lack of any reference to the character Lore when another Data-like android is discovered. Also, there is a stronger emphasis on dialog rather than action in this episode. That's not to say there's a dearth of action. The Argo scene (among others) is great fun. By-and-large it's a keeper, just not a "watch many times" type keeper.

This movie isn't all that bad. It's not nearly as good as Generations or First Contact but I find it about as good as Insurrection. Similar to Insurrection, this film could have been cut down to the core of the matter at hand and trimmed from it's filler scenes then we would have a TV episode of The Next Generation. Will Riker and Deanna Troy finally get married. There is a new Romulan leader, Shinzon, that claims they want peace with Starfleet but it is a trick. Shinzon needs Picard to survive and it's up to Picard and crew to put an end to this. That about sums up this film. It is Star Trek entertainment that is a pretty good watch... just a bit better than Insurrection in my opinion. 7/10
