Same old tired psycho roommate plot, even worse actors. I'm sorry, but the Villarreal actress (who plays the best friend) needs to hang it up. It's the second time I've seen her stink up an already dumb movie. She's so robotic and barely moves her mouth. The lead actress and the rest aren't much better. What happens when a woman in a bad relationship gets a new roommate? On Lifetime it means said roommate becomes obsessed, plants cameras/mics in the bedroom and takes out all competition. Rinse and repeat. It's been a while since they've done a closing shot of the psycho in prison still acting psycho, so there's that... Do not recommend.

Angelina works at a suicide prevention center, and she would appear to have all the sensitivity necessary to empathize with her deeply troubled roommate Bianca. Unfortunately, the fixation that Bianca had on Angelina as she sought a replacement for her deceased sister Amelia was insatiable and too much even for a trained counselor like Angelina to overcome. While the singular obsession of Bianca seemed difficult to believe, the actress was outstanding in attempting to evoke this particular neurosis. The character's loneliness and extreme vulnerability came across clearly. But, of course, so did the pathology and the violence. An early warning sign was the character's cruelty in evicting a sweet cat from her palatial Los Angeles home. There was good chemistry between Angelina and Diego, as well as her enduring friendship with her childhood bestie, Gaby. The film was also well directed with excellent camera angles, pacing, scoring, and environments. Bianca's work in fashion design was impressive. Unfortunately, her skills will now likely be put to use as a seamstress in the manufacture of orange jumpsuits in prison.

Did they do a casting call for the most annoying actors in history? The lead redhead has the most annoying voice I've ever heard in my entire life next to Joey Lauren Adams. Her best friend talks like she can barely move her lips. Maybe they all got lip injections before the movie begin filming. Two red flags before the lead character even moves in with the psycho... Flag one - psycho's ex-roommate left and is never coming back for any of her stuff. Ever. Even tho it's pretty nice stuff. Flag two - lead redhead tells psycho about a girl she's counseling. The girl's father killed her mother in front of her. Psycho asks what did the wife do for her husband to kill her. No raised eyebrows on either of those? Not at all, let's just move in TOMORROW! LOL The rest is pretty much your standard Lifetime movie with predictable plot and mediocre acting. Ok for a rainy day or for calling in sick.
