This is the story of a single mom, who doesn't really like Christmas anymore because that's the time of year when her husband died and she has to work for a promotion instead of spending time with her kid. She meets a single dad when she takes her kid to her parents house. Oh! And due to not communicating with her parents or her sister, her parents aren't there...they are out of town on vacation. She was counting on them watching her son while she worked. The single dad is crazy about Christmas and is a handy contractor! The single dad is played by Kevin McGarry and he was wonderful...he and the kids...and the corgi puppy, really carried the movie instead of their star, Kelly Kruger, who was an unbelievable mother. I can't believe that he would fall in love with or choose to be with Kelly Kruger's character. My other real complaint is about the music...it was terrible. I don't say that lightly either. This is another holiday movie where the spouse has been killed off. I'm not sure why, it's not very Christmas-y. I wish they would stop with the dead parents and divorcees in Holiday movies...it's depressing and I watch holiday movies to be up lifted. The puppy is adorable and Kevin McGarry is really lovely...but they are the only real reasons to watch this holiday romance. Time does only go one way.

That I get sucked in to all the schmaltzy sap that are these standard predictable ridiculous holiday movies, short on romance and long on nothing else. And how come there is no affection or kissing or anything actually remotely romantic until the last scene? Just once I'd like to see a tongue jamming spit swapping kiss or two sweaty actors laying in each other's arms after a good romp. Instead we get a kiss that all to often looks painful, as if to say, God I hate this guy. Why did I ever take this part? Oh yeah. Because I'm not good enough to get a real role anywhere else. At least here they look like their mouth is open but no hint of a tongue anywhere. I swear the writers are just out of ideas so they stick to strict formula plots hoping it'll just work. It's like throwing something at a wall hoping it'll stick no matter how messy it is. With this one they mistakenly thought that throwing a puppy into the central theme mix would make it interesting. The acting is not the worst thing about this one and as far as I'm concerned the only thing redeemable about this movie is looking at Kevin and having a fantasy.

Not good at all. It's barely about corgis. It's confusing, doesn't make sense, the actors are not good, it was a big waste of time watching it. I should've looked at the other reviews before watching. I don't even know what else to say I'm just trying to fill up my 150 characters.

Adorable puppy dogs and the kid is super cute too! The mom is a good mom. I liked it and thought it was unique for a christmas movie :)

Even giving these people some leeway on yet another Christams turkey film, this one is too poor to countenance. The sound is super bad, a 4 year old would do better. The techincal errors and cynical script is an insult to any audience. Have no idea where the Leading male came from - feasibly a care home. Very very bad, even when measured on the Cheap Christmas Movie Scale. This rubish was put together only 2 years ago!! They should be ashamed.

I switched to this movie and it appears to have one Corgi who appears fairly irregularly. Admittedly I have only watched half an hour of it but less than 3 minutes of Corgi. For it to be a Very Corgi Christmas I'd expect at least 3 Corgis to be in screen for a minimum of 50% of the whole film. Very disappointing.

My family had fun hating on this awful film one evening, and we're diehard corgi lovers.

I wasn't sure I wanted to watch this movie, mainly because the title didn't seem interesting. I love the lead actor, so I gave the movie a shot. He was great and the dog was absolutely adorable! I really did enjoy the story, but McGarry and the sweet puppy stole the show! This was a lot of fun to watch!

Even very very cute Kevin McGarry from the later seasons of "Heartland" and the very cute dogs couldn't save "A Very Corgi Christmas." Also, I very obv. wasn't amused that the main girl's cute bubbly sister who could have saved the film for me was a c word. :((
