Yes...last I heard, NBC said Conan the Douche was heir apparaent to Jay Leno. Dear God, that would be a death nell. He is absolutely the ugliest, unfunny, self-effacing, piece of garbage I have ever experienced. This turd wouldn't make it at a comedy theater in Lincoln, Neb. For some reason O'Brien thinks that his opening gyrations are endearing and magnetic. Not...annoying, repetitive, and totally boring. Hope they can this guy soon. Every time I watch that turd I get .... oh, well...'nough said. He is a real irritant. Oh.. & what the hell is wrong with IMDb? "10 lines to post" when one would have been sufficient and the forum condones every foul-mouthed, illiterate, adolescent post in virtually every thread.

I used to watch from time to time but recently saw him make fun of the queens voice and Donald Trump. Such a shame because that's all the other shows do and I liked that Conan did not. Bummer

I used to like Conan quite a bit. His humor gets old, though. It's that geeky self-berating type, with a lot of pausing to laugh at his remarks. The show has it's moments (like the photographs of Conan, Max Weinberg, and Joel the announcer with narration), but mostly it screams of amateurism. I'm surprised Conan O'Brien doesn't make a bigger effort at improving the show, instead of shaking his head at how terrible it is. No wonder the timeslot is so bad, and the guests are mostly supporting actors in box office bombs and TV shows that no one watches. David Letterman's show is still the highest in quality, AND Letterman is infinitely funnier. Jay Leno is reasonably funny (though falls flat many times), his show is decent because the guests are all first-rate. Sleep a few hours earlier and skip this.

On a scale of 1 to 10, this show rates a big fat zero, I would give it a worse rating but zero is the lowest that can be given. His humour is idiotic at best. The best part of his show is when its over. I have to give him credit tho, it takes talent to have absolutely no talent and have a show last 10 years.

Ugly, raunchy and stale. He's on late because his audience is made up of drunks ready to pass out, which also describes the state of his writers. Running gags include children drawings of perverted scenes involving Conan O'Brien (they're not really drawn by children, O'Brien just pretends they are, what a sicko, he should be thrown in jail) and a cigar-chomping, filthy-mouthed puppet-dog. The house band is the worse on television and the announcer Joel admits that he's interested in young boys. Andy Richter, a humorless tub of lard and the worse side-kick in the history of side-kicks even had sense to jump this ship of fools. Sincerely, Craig Kilborn.

I can't forget when I was in Los Angeles and saw Jay Leno live at a comedy club. He had the audience rolling in the aisles for well over an hour. I hope that his new time slot will take his audience with him. I have no idea WHY NBC chose Conan for the Late Nite Show. His humor is moronic and, as a host, he doesn't know when to stop at times. One night he was interviewing Hugh Laurie and he began using a very bad Cockney accent. Hugh was visibly annoyed and Conan just didn't seem to pick up the body language and continued ad nauseum. Finally Hugh shut him up with a comment. I have no idea what audience NBC is hoping to reach, but I for one am changing the channel to something else. I wonder how long it will take for the ratings to drop... he reminds me of some socially maladjusted person who is trying to use humor to "fit in".

not only this show is funnier than Jay Leno and David Letterman. This show have much better music guests than those shows. Jay Leno have mostly no-talent teenybopper popstars and sell-out bands. This show have mostly underground metal and rock music. You hardly will see any teenybopper bands on this show. That what make this show great and funny at the same time.

This show is absolutely hilarious from start to finish and Conan is in my opinion the best talk show host around beating even Jon Stewart and WAY ahead of the once funny Jay Leno. The humour is so stupidely original that it shouldn't work in any level but it comes out swinging with such greats as the Texas Ranger lever,Conan Hates My Homeland, the deadpan interplay between Conan and Max,the neverending picking on La Bamba or even the celebrities ending sentences(my favorite-O.J.Simpson"I hate being recognized when...I'm killing people"). The guests are also always more loose with Conan(late night)and not desperate to plug stuff as in Leno.

Yeah, ok...most people still think Leno is, but that'll all change in time. See Leno and Conan are complete opposites. Both hosts are extremely entertaining, but when Leno's up on stage, you can tell he's kinda' just a cute monkey in a suit who's told to read his cue cards. *Then* he sounds funny. But Conan actually starts off funny; doing physical comedy, reacting to his audience, etc., but it's often his writers that make him tell lame jokes. Don't get me wrong; they're not all lame. They can get repetitive though, and are actually sometimes too vulgar or tasteless for Conan's classy personality. The funniest parts of the show are when he actually expresses his "what the hell kind of joke was that?"face to what he just said. Conan's cool; he plays guitar, he can be very self-deprecating (though he's toned down a bit -thank goodness), but best of all..he always acts genuinely interested in his guests and always seems to try to learn from them. I think that what about Conan appeals to a younger audience(19-30 crowd) is not only that he can get away with more explicit material on his show, he also on the other hand shows disgust in any kind of strange sexual taboo(this is what evens out the show.)Example? Like when Conan asked Max Weinberg "Now, come on. Why should *you* have your own generation? Because you're such a good drummer?" "No, because of my hundreds of iligitimate children." Conan makes a disgusted face and we don't know if it's toward the writers or the situation, but we always sympathize and have to laugh! The only problem I have with the show is I think Conan should write his dialogue. I mean, come on, this guy went to Harvard to become funny and wrote for SNL & he Simpsons! Long Live Conan! Har-dee-har-har! Me lucky charms!
