It's a cool action movie with some particularly graphic violence to accompany the well-choreographed action scenes. And by graphic violence, I mean some of the killings of standard action-movie henchmen reach body-horror levels of brutality. The story is reasonably straightforward: an elite assassin gets suspended from active duty after fumbling a mission. She soon finds new purpose in protecting/avenging a local kid. Performances are good, there's lots of wild action and the story is familiar but compelling. Unfortunately it gets bogged down in an extraneous subplot at the start of the third act and said subplot subsumes the finale.

What can I say? This has everything you could ever ask for! The length of the movie is what excited me the most. During the whole movie my eyes were glued to my tv. I loved every last part of the movie and I hope that they will release a second movie! I also cannot believe that Master Burai chose to team up with 13. That was a very unexpected move but with the skillset of 13, I understand why he doesn't want to be on the wrong side of her. She is the most ruthless killer that I have ever laid my eyes on. It does not matter if she has a screwdriver, a metal pipe or a gun. 13 will make the most out of it to finish the target.

I dont normally write reviews but felt compelled after all the effort timo put into the movie. I didnt know how timo would be able improve on the night comes for us. As i class that as probably one of the finest martial arts action movies i have seen. Especially with the power house cast he was able to gather for that. But Aurora ribero did a phenominal job as the lead role. Especially as this is not her usual type of movie and Hana malasan was also to marvel at. Im so glad he brought muhammad irfan back as the fight choreographer from the night comes for us. As this was key component to the movie. He has given us something that will be very difficult to replicate as the fight scenes were so intricate you would have to watch them 10 times to understand what is happening. But again all credit to timo as he has again crafted a masterpiece of action cinema which is so brutal and unforgiving and pushed the boundries of view point directing again. I just cant understand how he has been able to put something like this together. But i already could see his vision for action movies from headshot. And keeping the movie open at the end with Yayan has got me itching for the next part. I can fully understand why mainstream hollywood has sat up and taken notice and brought him in for nobody 2 and the last train to new york. I have no doubt he will be able to give us a fresh take with those movies. Especially looking forward to seeing him work with bob odenkirk on nobody 2. I Feel really sorry for gareth edwards and tom hardy when they release havoc. After they watch this they will feel hard done and upset.
