فيلم مقتبس عن قصة حياة عازف البيانو البولندي فالديك سبيلمان في فترة الحرب العالمية الثانية حينما يجتاح الجيش الألماني بولندا ويحتلها، ويعاني سبيلمان هو وأسرته بسبب انتمائه للديانة اليهودية، وتعمد الألمان التنكيل باليهود وكيفية مطاردتهم والتضييق عليهم وتعذيبهم وقتلهم من دون سبب؛ حسب ادعاء الفيلم ذلك. كما يتعرض للمقاومة البولندية للاحتلال الألماني، وتحرير بولندا على يد الجيش الأحمر السوفيتي.

I'm traumatized by this movie i thought I've seen enough from saving private ryan, unbroken and Dunkirk this one i feel the pain through my bones it's a masterpiece I'm glad we are very lucky that we never experienced what kind of lives they had during WWII this would be unforgettable movie.

Maybe because I just saw saving soldiers, I inevitably think the world described here is too clean. Yes, even if you think it's cruel, it's a little too clean and beautiful. But I still like this movie very much. As long as those warm things are there, it's OK. Although the war is actually much crueler.
