Unusual script showcasing the skill and fitness of hugely talented screen heroine and mama lion, Naomi Watts. The film does not deserve such negative reviews. Watts pulls off a 21st century mom handling a crisis in the way we all live now - on the phone. The pacing and suspense are there. Give it a try.

If you like National Geographic then this movie is right up your alley as for most of the 84 minutes, her character Amy Carr is jogging, running, stumbling and freaking out in the fall foliage of North Bay, Ontario. Why there is a cast is beyond my understanding as they are just voices on her cell phone. The plot? You have seen it many times over as Breaking News on American TV.

Never have I ever disliked a film so quickly. The constant recorded messages, voicemails and ring tones that we all hate so much, are a major feature of this film. The panic and negativity of a typical pessimist comes out strongly too which is highly annoying as she fears the worst right from the start with no evidence whatsoever to support her fears. She does not stop using her phone throughout the entire film and I only know that because I skipped the entire movie from 15 minutes in, by 5 minute slots. I kinda put together the plot and ending just through a montage of shots I saw every 5 minutes and tbh it could easily have been nothing more than a short film. God knows who financed this monstrosity but I bet they are kicking themselves.

Oh my god. This is one of the most frustrating films I've ever not finished. It is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to RUN through a forest AND make 150 cell phone calls at the same time. She was sending texts while running. She was looking at maps while running. She hailed a LYFT driver...WHILE RUNNING. She had an employee at an auto repair shop FIND HER SON'S TRUCK....and you know the rest. Don't waste your time on this insulting movie.

It has been almost a year since a family lost their father. Amy (Naomi Watts) the mom goes out for her morning jog, taking a personal day off. Her moody teen son Noah (Colton Gobbo) doesn't feel like going to school and has all indications he is playing sick. While on her jog, Amy finds out there is a lockdown because of a school shooting. Could it be Noah? Nearly the whole film is Naomi Watts limping around in the woods, talking on her phone. Emotional ending after an hour of fast forwarding boredom. Guide: No sex or nudity. No f-words.
