Some movies are done very well but as if the idea came from a communist country where the public was not exposed to advanced technology. For god sakes when will american movie makers start introducing cell phones in these films, and I mean the way we use them in real life. Someone is doing something bizarre around town the whole population will get to know about it (text, MMS, SMS). Cell phones are part of our life and when someone walks in a place to do something bad, police are already notified by dozens of people in the same time!!!! Screen writers give us a freaking break when you write a script, please................

I was a bit uneasy with some scenes, I guess with all the similar incidents in real life over the years. Anyway, kept watching to see where it was going. Glad I did. There was actually a story behind it all, and not what you'd have expected. A bit of thought went into the film's storyline, which was good. The acting was not exactly great, but gave it a more real feel, instead of posturing and posing to the camera. One or two known actors, but playing subtle characters, not hogging the screen. I like it when actors just act in a non look-at-me way, playing a part knowing a film is more than just having them in it. I never really heard about this film, just noticing it advertised on the net. Good film. A sequel hinted at ? I hope not, as it can only fail now the twist in the first is known.

I don't believe for myself that I wrote this. But here it is. It's a film by Uwe Boll and it's a really good film. Yep, I really wrote this! It's a good film. Not as in "Good for Uwe Boll". Just plain good. It have a good scenario. It have decent dialogue lines. It have a social message. It have action scenes. It have everything that good action film should contain and even more. It have it's own drawbacks. Shacky camera. Montage can be better. SFX could be better. But generally it's really good!

Watching this movie is like playing GTA! Senseless but fun! Don't expect to be blown away with a detailed plot unlike the more anarchistic sequels. It's just great destruction and violence in its purest form. Well worth a watch, not for the light hearted...

A rating of 6.4 for this film compromises the credibility of IMDb! The reviewers compare other Uwe Boll movies with this one, instead other movies of the same genre. Back to the movie: Though Uwe Boll explains in the additional director's comments on the DVD, that his main goal of the movie was to surprise the viewer at any time, his flick was only boring. The reason for that are the bad dialogs and the stereotype scenes and the lame editing. A day later I watched the movie "No Country For Old Man" and thought, that this great film exactly fulfills Uwe Boll's standards. His own film does it definitely not. It might be, that "Rampage" is Uwe Boll's best movie so far (if so I never want to know the others), but it is still crap and a waste of time.

I'm by no means a Uwe Boll fan. I find much of his work gratuitous and or amateurish. I was surprised therefore by this title. Its classic Boll in so much as it is very very violent. What raises this title above his usual fare however is it does actually have a workable, convincing story that holds together well. Moreover, the acting is of a reasonable caliber which further aids this flicks cause. Don't expect great things but do expect an entertaining if rather disturbing journey through the psychosis of an overlooked young man in small town America. Worth a look.

the real worry is not the depraved man in this film going about killing innocents..this happens in real life already....the real sad thing is the people who have voted this to 9s and 10s...and loving this pathetic movie....with real life being worse than fiction these days, and the cam kind of shaky movie AND the ability to fast forward the rubbish areas...which was most of it..i managed to keep the emotions out of it....the twist at the end where another man is framed was the only interesting bit in this film..it was awful to take this movie..it is more awful that many like it..not just 3 or 5, but absolute 9s...they are the ones who may like to shoot and kill on video games as well...frustrated and wanting to vent their feelings somehow..i hope such films do not influence sleepers! ..dont directors feel such responsibilities to wards societies??
