I was here for a cheesy knock off of home alone and i got it its absolute garbage. Its so bad that it was almost good its makes the cats movie look normal but theres dogs put it on for kids around 4-8 and its a good movie but dont watch and expect it to be good but its a good movie for kids unless your kids have any sense of whats happening.

Funny and kind movie to watch with family. The movie is touching and funny, suitable for both kids and adults. We enjoyed it and added to our "Christmas movies" list.

That said, I actually enjoyed this movie a lot. It's a cross between Beverly Hills Chihuahua and Home Alone. As far as Malcolm McDowell movies go, this was far superior to Timecrafters: Treasure Of The Pirates Cove, which came out the same time. That's largely because this movie, outside of veteran actor Malcolm McDowell, has a far better cast (certainly far more solid household names) than Timecrafters: Treasure Of The Pirates Cove. A widower that's an inventor named Robert (played by relative newcomer Tyler Hollingsworth) and his estranged daughter Jenna (played by newcomer Isidora Swann) move to a new high affluent town in the Rocky Mountains (Colorado or Utah) and they go on a Christmas vacation to a nearby ski resort. Their short fused neighbor Victor (played by veteran actor Dolph Lundgren) and their CEO boss Bill (played by veteran actor Eric Roberts) go with them. When Victor learns of Robert's new invention, he hires two foolish thieves named Benny (played by veteran actor Nicholas Turturro) and Lenny (played by relative newcomer Stelio Savante), who Victor communicates with through cell phones, to try and steal it. The dogs, lead by Gidget (voiced by veteran actress Jennifer Love Hewitt) and her new love interest Charlie (voiced by veteran actor Jerry O'Connell) work together to try to thwart the thieves. Rounding out the household names in this movie are veteran actors Keith David (in a cameo), Rob Schneider and Danny Trejo. The latter two each voice one of the dogs, as does Malcolm McDowell. This is a good movie for people of any age to enjoy at Christmas time, despite a little bit crude humor (which may offend some people of any age). Only if you like the cast (especially Jennifer Love Hewitt, Dolph Lundgren and Jerry O'Connell), should you give this a try.

This film's title is just as similar to Home Alone's enough to be a total ripoff of that film. The storyline is also terrible and the special effects are dull!!! This film is also ranked the worst in my 5 worst films that I would not watch, even ever again!

Will not surprise me when the Raspberry Awards come around and it wins them all. The dogs are the only part of this movie that isn't annoying. Their cuteness accounts for my three stars.

Both Antagonist and Protagonist are retarded, all their decisions are illogical, it is not "a film for children", it is just poor parody on "Home Alone". I don't recommend anybody to watch it.

Cheesy holiday film but entertained the kids and engaging enough for me to stay awake Dolph lundgren steals the show. Danny Trejo most recognisable voice Even a cameo from Eric Robert's.

Just another holiday movie for children but watched it anyhow. As expected a simple plot with "whispering" dogs. The runtime of 107 minutes is a bit too long but hey, it´s a holiday movie. The cast is impressive but again as expected the acting the opposite. But I have to admit I loved to see Dolph Lundgren (Victor) enjoying his Cuban cigar. A nice change with Christmas coming.

Language and way too much negativity We kept watching for it to get better. I'm sorry I wasted money on it! I'm glad I don't children who were watching it. Very disappointed!!
