I went to this movie, not expecting anything grand or special. The only reason I did go was so that I could see Jensen Ackles on the big screen. I am a big Supernatural fan, and I was excited to see him, not so much the movie. Overall, the story line was decent. It has been done before so it's nothing that is going to blow you away. It was a typical slasher film with lots and lots of gore (very gruesome gore), and sex and nudity, which is something I did find to be a tad bit unnecessary for the film and something I frowned upon. The scene (only one) could have been done exactly the same with clothes...there was no real point to nudity. Anyway, the 3D was very cool, and I would suggest seeing it in 3D. It doesn't make you dizzy and it isn't overpowering as if to take away from the story. The 3D was done tastefully. Acting was alright. Jensen Ackles and Kerr Smith did a good job as main actors for the role. The rest were...decent. Special Effects was actually...really, really good. One scene in particular I actually really, really loved (towards the end, Jensen and Lights....that's all I'll say..XD) Overall, the movie was decent...better than I had thought. However, if Jensen hadn't been in this movie, I doubt I would have gone to see it. But, fellow Supernatural fans and Ackles Lovers, you will definitely enjoy watching Jensen on the big screen, I guarantee it.
