So what if I hate dogs, children and Americans? I can still enjoy this film can't I?? Now let's see... No!! No More!! If they bring out a third they'll regret it! Bwahahahaha!!! What exactly is the plot?? Is it possible that I fell asleep and missed half of it? No, because there's boredom, and just plain sickness. Well, they should have drowned the puppies, cos I hate them. If any animal rights people complain at me, I'll have them drowned as well. In fact, I might just go and flood the entire American continent. Millennium hand and shrimp. That's what you think. Hats.

In this sequel, which uses the same actors for all of Newton family members, Beethoven falls in love with a female St. Bernard and they have four puppies together. Her evil owner, Regina(whose character is not quite as evil as that of Dean Jones in the first film), wants to sell the puppies, but Emily, Ted, and Ryce are determined to take on the responsibility of taking care of them. Dad is nonetheless infuriated when he discovers them, but is once again pressured by the family into keeping them. The family soon heads off for a vacation in the mountains and are eventually tracked to a rural county fair by Regina and her none-too-bright boyfriend, Floyd. A battle ensues, with Regina and Floyd ending up plunging into a muddy river. Back home, the family settles on joint custody of the puppies with Regina's ex-husband, a good-natured man named Brillo. Like the first, this one is guaranteed to get to you in a good way, but still lacks some of the greatness of it.

This movie recovers the charm of the first one with GRODIN again as the protagonist and doing a Magnificent Job, the Comedy is at the Same Point as the Original, Children's Jokes but very Funny and it no longer has a Plot as Gloomy as the First one but it has Unpleasant moments like when some Youngsters Throw Beer at Beethoven, but luckily in Revenge he does his thing by giving a Great Punishment for Annoying him! The Classic Piano Theme from the First is Back being just as Beautiful as the First, the Performances are Decent Except Dog Beethoven and Charles Grodin because they are the ones who steal the Movie with their Great Charm, even though This Movie has a Miserable 4.9 I think it is just as good as the Original which also has a Low Rating of 5.7 and both movies are good! In conclusion, this movie is just as good as the Original and recovers its charm, so I rate it the same as the First with an 8!

This 1993 sequel to the St. Bernard hit finds big, fluffy Beethoven now at home with gruff-but-lovable dad Charles Grodin, supermom Bonnie Hunt, and their three kids. The story continues with Beethoven falling for a female St. Bernard and having a litter, unbeknown st to Grodin, while the new dog's owner (Debi Mazar) starts angling for benefits from this union. The larger dog pool certainly adds more cuteness and laughs to this follow-up, and Grodin and Hunt--consummate professionals--don't let sequel-its lower their energy or their wonderfully idiosyncratic way with dialog. Mazar brings her own edge to the proceedings, too, but in the end, the film's accent is still very much on a feel-good experience for everyone.

This second installment in the Beethoven film series is a family comedy that is pleasant to watch when you wake up with a coffee on Sunday morning. The story is not only funny but also educational.

Beethoven's 2nd i thought that this was another fantastic movie to watch. This movie got Beethoven in the mood when he becomes a father to 4 puppies. His Girlfriend Missy is Dognapped my 2 horrible people. Beethoven's next mission is to rescue Missy and their children. I give this movie 10 out of 10.
